The rain had been pouring for nearly half of this day. Since Kyo got up on his bed and looked outside at four thirty am that morning the rain had made a rhythm of sorts upon his window pane. And as if someone with a gigantic camera from the sky was taking pictures of the entire village, flash after flash of lightning; with all of it brilliant glory illuminated the sky periodically. The clouds looked angry about something as they cried over the village of Konoha. The river where Kyo would train on its banks was almost ready to burst its banks and flood the area. If another day this rain continued that is exactly what will happen. People could be seen through his window scampering for safety to their homes away from this downpour.

As every morning, his servant brought in his breakfast of Miso soup and a side of grilled salmon. He was given it in a tray in bed where he sat eating but his mind was elsewhere. Something was not right and somehow he could sense it. Suddenly, as if it were on point, a massive sword crashed through his window and went spinning for his left side of his body as if it was thrown in an attempt to cleave Kyo into two. Àll Kyo had time to do was throw himself off his bed scattering all his food and pulling off his sheet with him and he landed on the side of the bed with a hard thud. The sword crashed and stuck into the wall of the room. Half of it went straight through the wall no doubt now protruding out in the hall on the outside of his room.

He activated his Byakugan and had seen a lone figure escaping from the scene. In his shorts and avest alone he dove through the now broken window onto the street below which was ten feet down and took off in a sprint in pursuit of his would be assassin. He could see them making their way down the river and he followed. Using the chakra at the soles of his feet Kyo skated effortlessly on the river surface behind his attacker. The river led to the outside of the village and when almost to the wall, the attacker stopped and confronted Kyo.

He wore a dark red hooded cloak and was taller than Kyo. He had a clown mask with a hood covering his head. The sleeves of the cloak were long so his hands could not be seen. The figure stood there swaying gently from left to right as if they were a blade of grass in the wind. The rain had made his cloak heavy and drenched as it stuck to the.medium sized frame of this assassin.

"Who the fuck are you?" Snarled Kyo as he looked at the man with his Byakugan. "You are truly a fool to think a mask can hide your pitiful face from a Hyuga."

"Oh how I want those eyes of yours! They are indeed perfect. Even if you can see my face you are years away from facing me Kyo of the Hyuga clan the next time we meet you will be dead and your eyes will be.mine! Hahahaha!" Said the cloaked figure as he began to sink quickly into the ground and disappear.

Now things were at a level of great concern in his mind. Now that is was confirmed that someone was after him for his eyes. He saw through the mask and saw it was a young man approximately twenty five years of age. With blonde hair and blue eyes. He had absolutely no other weapon on him other than a katana hidden under his cloak. Kyo had never before seen this person before today and wondered who he was; his memory banks came up with nothing. It would only be a matter of time before this one was found since Kyo saw his face. He would get a sketch artist to draw out a portrait of this one and spread it out throughout the village so everyone will be on the lookout for this man.

That was exactly what Kyo did and he wasted no time. Upon returning home disappointed that his attacker had escaped and his breakfast was ruined, he decided if the sword that was left stuck in his bedroom wall would offer any clues as to where this man came from. Having some skill in weaponry, he activated his Byakugan yet again and truly explored the length and breath of the weapon. Sure enough, there were fingerprints on the hand of the weapon which Kyo would cross reference Konoha's database to see if the prints matched anyone within their data base. A name came up and Kyo saw a younger attacker come up on the screen. His real name was Azan Hashiro. His last known address was close to the fire temple. Kyo figured that it would be the best place to start looking for him. Last time he was arrested for selling jutsu secrets to Kumo. He had escaped from prison and had become a C ranked missing non according to the Bingo book.

Kyo was no fool. He did not want to come on his own to face this man. He was after all a missing ninja. Time on your own like that tends to make you tough and independent. He could have a small army backing him up. But Kyo did not care. As far as he was concerned he had to slay this transgressor. Because he committed the greatest sin of all; trying to covet the gifts of the Hyuga clan. If successful, there would be great repercussions for both Konoha and the clan. Getting this man had become Kyo's priority and everything else went out the window. He gathered all of his gear and headed towards the Fire Temple. He chose not to get anyone else involved. There was a reason Kyo was singled out like that by this man and Kyo was hell bent on finding out why.

Kyo had walked a good distance when again he heard something whooshing in the rain which instinctively made him activate his Byakugan. He saw coming at him from behind a giant broadsword spinning coming at him like the attack in his room. But this time he was far more prepared. He jumped out of the way and another object was closing in on him fast. It was the same man, dressed the same way but his face was revealed to Kyo. He landed in front of Kyo around ten feet away from him. The sword had struck a tree and the man pulled on a wire that was attached to the sword and pulled the weapon free and towards him and caught the handle.

"Hyuga Kyo. You will give me your eyes and see Konoha burn." Cursed Azan.

"Have you ever wondered if today was going to be your last day on Earth?" Replied Kyo calmly as he drew his own katana. "I'm going to kill you without even using my bloodline jutsu. You see, you are not worthy to even die by the hands of a Hyuga."

Azan said nothing and just charged recklessly at Kyo. Kyo saw the man movements and carried about himself accordingly. Azan slashes horizontal, kyo jumped and lopped off the man head.

"Dont you dare oppose the Hyuga."
