Name: June Maywell
Nickname: N/A
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 5'7
Weight: 110
Appearance: Usually found with a kind smile on her face and a bright look of wonder in her eyes, June stands out among most other women. At first glance, her long, straight, white hair seems unnatural and many people find her yellow eyes creepy and weird. In fact, a lot of people might even think they're some lost special power despite that not being the case. Her light skin seems to indicate someone who doesn't spend much time outside as if she was some form of shut-in without a cause.... This is, also, not really the case.... Either way, June's expressive features make it easy to tell what she's feeling at any given time... which is only made worse by her glaring inability to lie in front of other people.
Normally, June wears a strapless white dress that extends down to her shins with a pair of basic sandals on her feet, giving her a very comfortable almost island-ish feel. Usually, she wears a black sash around her waist, as well, which can be used to hold a sword and features a simple, red, floral print as well as usually wearing a basic short, white, open coat with loose long sleeves to complete the basic look.
Village: Hidden Mist
Character Rank: Genin
Character Tier: D-3
Clan: Kaguya (currently unaware of their Shikotsumyaku)
Element: Lava Release
Bijuu Roll: N/A
Personality: Usually bright and cheerful by nature, June had always been especially soft to the world around her. Even as the world around her prioritized strength, she continued to be left behind. Still stuck in her own moral hangups that others around her didn't seem to completely understand. Even now, she refuses to kill. She refuses to take the extra step despite knowing just how easy it would be as she blindly walks forward into a position where such a way of thinking is practically unheard of. Because no matter how much she worries or nervously re-thinks things or tries to distract herself with ramblings of nonsense or stories of things that she imagines, things that nobody else knows or even cares about, she can't escape from the truth of this world. The truth all ninja must eventually surrender themselves to on their quests for power.
But when not dwelling on stuff of that severity, June is incredibly shy around new people and situations, often forced to put her mind through elaborate scenarios to deal with situations she's not used to or that she's too awkward to naturally grasp. However, to those who get close to her, June will occasionally go out of her way to tease and joke with them.... A process which, usually, ends up with her going through the same motions she usually does when she's in an awkward situation she still doesn't fully comprehend....
Character History: Born into the Kaguya clan, June, then known as Sachiko, was met with grave misfortune at an early age. Barely a year old, her family found themselves fleeing for their lives from a gang of crimelords known as the Blacksuits, a group that employed various rogue ninja to deal in drug trades and the theft and re-distribution of rare body parts and other such 'prizes'. As such, it was inevitable that they would eventually set their sights on such an unusual family, infamous for being resilient to medical treatments due to their unusually structured skeletons. Plenty of collectors would pay quite a lot to have the chance to display such an oddity and, where there's a demand, there will be those willing to meet it no matter the effort.
As early as she could remember, June was always raised by the Maywell family, kept ignorant of her past to spare her from the tragic truth of her situation. While she had been spared, it was not because of any great act of love from her parents or any incredible natural feat, it was purely because her bones had yet to completely grow into their final, odd, shape yet. She survived purely so she could be killed off later. However, this didn't change how she was treated by her new family... at least, for the most part.... The Maywells were a strict pair who forcibly drilled etiquette and manners into their adopted daughter despite living in the city slums. For the Maywells, life was rough. But the head of the family made sure to provide for the rest through what missions he could do on his own. But, eventually, despite having a reasonably calm existence, the problems revolving around taking care of June couldn't be ignored. Medical bills began to become an undeniable expense and, as she grew older, it became more and more impossible to ignore the reason June had lived with them in the first place. People were after her. People she would have to defend herself against. She would have to learn to protect herself eventually and she would also have to get a job at some point. Knowing all of this, sending her off to become a ninja seemed like the only real solution.
Still ignorant of her true origins, without much explanation, June was sent to join the hidden Mist's academy. Still ignorant, she was forced into a world completely against everything she understood. All purely because of a fate that still remains completely beyond her control....
