The Nishizaka clan go back hundreds of years. Legend has it that the first members of the Nishizaka were completely hairless, every single one of them, regardless of age and gender. The head of the clan was distraught, certain it was a curse to keep them from growing too large. The leader prayed at Mikami shrine to the god of hair obsessively to grow beautiful hair, he and his brood. The god finally answered him, telling him if they meditated in the forest, kneaded their chakra into the scalps, and dunked their heads under a waterfall every day for five years, they would certainly sprout hair. The day came when they did in fact sprout hair, and what a day of celebration it was!

Since their hair was so precious, the clan crafted many natural oils and cleansers to keep their locks healthy and strong. They continued the practice of meditating in the forest, feeding their hair chakra, and washing their hair in the waters of the waterfall.

The process of growing hair lead their chakra to infuse into each strand, from root to tip. With time they found they could easily control their hair as they pleased. The meditation time in the forest also granted them an affinity for absorbing and storing natural chakra in their hair.

The Nishizaka are still obsessed with their hair today, maintaining it meticulously and using it to become stronger shinobi.

Clan Appearance: Since their Kekkei Genkai deals with potentially constantly changing hair styles, textures, and colors, it is both a physical trait and not. However, there are a few things all Nishizaka share that can't change. Their eyes are striking blue with a gray, eye-shadow like marking on the upper eyelids.  Each of them have an inch thick black line that starts at the base of the scalp, goes down the neck, splits at the shoulders, travels down the back of each arm, and ends at a band around the wrists.

Clan Ability/KKg Description:

Mikami Blessing: The Nishizaka can grow any hair on their body at will, though most prefer to stick to the hair on their heads for aesthetic reasons. They can control everything about their hair, from length to color to texture. It moves at their mental command, able to be used like extra limbs or even as needles. They can grow it out to a maximum of 50 meters. Hits from hair are equal to the users strength stat, and each strand is infused with chakra to prevent blades from cutting it.

Kami Sage Locks: Users can collect natural chakra by remaining still and anchoring their hair directly into the ground. They can store it for later use in their hair. When hair is full of natural chakra, it has a weightless movement and a glittery quality to it.
Users can activate previously stored natural chakra by touching the black band markings on their wrists together, activating the draw of the energy out of their hair reserves to enter Non-Summoning Sage mode. When natural chakra is depleted, the hair goes limp and dull and they must gather more to continue.

**Nishizaka clan members can only use Non-Summoning Sage Mode. They are also unable to make summoning contracts with animals.

Hair Anchors: By using tendrils of hair to anchor directly into the ground to gather natural chakra and their affinity or natural chakra absorption, -1 typical post gathering time.
