Description: The have been reports in your village lands that a Cult of Jashin has surfaced and the leader has been leading a small group in a killing spree in a attempt to awaken Jashinisim. Your job is to take down the boss to diffuse the cult activities. This mission is especially dangerous because the leader himself is a user of Jashinism! If he manages to draw any blood from you its possible that you could fall vicitim to the death possession blood technique!

Rei read the paper she held in her hands, it was a scroll to be exact. A detailed mission with scouted information on the mission she was to undertake. Apparently there was trouble in the lands nearby the village of Konoha: lands protects by Konoha. As the village was responsible for the lands' protection, it was only natural that the Hokage would send a skilled shinobi to handle the matter. Though to be precise, the matter at hand was one Rei had yet to expect. Cultists. What kind of cultists exactly? The worst kind, the ones who could potentially be immortal! This is a bit more than I expected, but no matter. If they can't die, I'll just render them useless. After all,
an immortality in imprisonment and possibly even only a portion of their whole body...
could be the worse kind of imprisonment. she said. Yes it was decided, she would make these cultists pay for their hubris. If they wished to invoke the immortal god Jashin by shedding blood, then she too would shed their blood and see which ones of them bled their loves away. The rest would have the worse of the deal, unable to die from her punishment. She stored the scroll under her shirt and excused herself from the hyuga's dojo: she had been training with one of the elders when the mission had been delivered.

After leaving the dojo and making her way to her personal quarters, she called upon her two maidservants. Only seconds of waiting passed before her two female hyuga branch family members appeared in her room and shut the door. "You called mistress?" the head maidservant asked, both her and the younger maidservant's heads bowed in respect as they addressed the princess. They had been handpicked for the responsibility of serving the heiress to the proud hyuga clan. Unlike most other clans, the Hyuga's prided themselves in honorary customs and roles. To these two maidservant, their responsibility was a position of pride and they took great pride and care in their work.

Rei raised her arms as she always did after training and the two maids stood abruptly, gracefully and swiftly as they undressed the princess. One maid prepared a fresh set of clothing while the other took a wet sponge and begun to wipe down Rei's naked body, cleaning away the sweat and musk: replacing it with the sweet fragrance of moonlily. Moonlily was a fragrance that Rei had come to love. It had been the smell she remembered from her grandmother, an elderly woman who had passed away some years ago. Rei's fondness of the fragrance was more of a loving memory than its pleasant smell. As she reminisced about her loving and fiery grandmother, her maids quickly dressed her in her shinobi clothing. She hadn't said a word, but the two of them had served her long enough to know when the princess was preparing for a shinobi mission. Unmistakably, it was her aura. One of dominance and responsibility. "Tell my father that I may be gone for a few days. If a week passes and I do not return, send the might of the Hyuga to this little village." she would give instructions as she would have the ninja scroll to her maid. Donning her white haori, she would ensure all of her tools and scrolls were in place and then made her way out of the hyuga clan and towards the village gates.

With all preparations complete, Rei would leave the gates of Konoha, eyeing one of her own clansmen among the sentries, whom wished her the best of luck in her hunting. According to the information, the lands that needed her assistance was to the south. Always the paranoid, Rei would activate her byakugan and look thoroughly to ensure that there was no one following or watching her as she made her way down the road before suddenly sprinting into a full speed run she verified that she was indeed alone. There one instant and then gone without a trace the next moment. Truth be told, her paranoia was somewhat above what could be considered normal. As the heiress tot he most powerful clan in Konoha, the possessor of the Byakugan.. and some other things, Rei was always on guard. Not just from enemy attack, but also her own villagers. Power corrupted people and this influential corruption was not limited to enemies. Someone coveting her position or power could be by her side and decide to take advantage at any time. These thoughts never left her mind and there was few indeed whom she trust. Those people she could count on one hand... and none of them were on this mission with her.

Once she had covered a good distance while constantly changing her means of travel between trees, grass and water streams: she slowed down her pace to a comfortable jot, Judging by the positioning of the sun through the trees, she determined that she had a good four hours before the sun set. While it was not enough time to get to the small village before sunset, it would take about two hours after the sun set. For most out of the safety of village walls, traveling at night could be perilous. From many sources. enemy shinobi, bandits, wild animals and other things in the dark that escaped comprehension until one bore witness to it. She traveled this way until darkness fell upon her once more. Then she activated her byakugan again and used it to see her surroundings and continue the pace she had been going at by day without being hindered.

The mission reports had said that the jashinsts were attacking in Konoha in raiding parties, slaughtering others in hopes of invoking the pleasure and "benevolence" of their god Jashin. Presently the killers weren't attacking Konoha, but a sighting had reported them attacking a smaller village in between Konoha and what was assumed to be the general position of their base. Chances were that the little village they were attacking, was a raid while on the way towards Konoha for another attack. If they had wished to attack Konoha again, then they chose poorly. For their violent actions only served as a beacon to warn those in Konoha of their coming. Sad to say, the cultists were like a wave of destruction and death. They possessed some skill and their leader was reported to be quite strong. Rei was somewhat concerned with that: for it was likely that the leader himself was a jashinist and was trying to build an immortal army. That could not be allowed to happen. Just the very mission itself gave Rei pride. The Hokage saw her real potential and chose to send her on this perilous task where her failure could result in the making of an immortal army to contend with.

I cannot fail this mission. More is at state than my reputation as Hyuga princess. Lives of innocence and the stability of our village. the results of this mission would be long-lasting in effect and only the best result was acceptable. Her eyes caught side of the village then, not the village itself per say- but the raging fires here and there caused by the cultists. Those fires served as much as light in the darkness of night, as it was to burn the village, razing it to the ground. Chances were, unchecked: the villagers would all be put to death and the village completely burned to ash. All that would remain would be ash-covered burnt bodies, half buried in rubble that would not burn in the fierce flames.

Her pace quickened as she found the village, its destruction already underway. Screams and crying could be heard in countless directions, followed by the yell of angry men and the clashing of metal that represented battle. Though battle was hardly a fitting word to describe the scene which she witnessed upon arriving at the gates. The fires illuminated farmers and merchants fighting against robed fanatics wielding weird scythe weapons. The civilians were hardly a match for the fanatical cultists and one after another the resistance was being slain. Rei noted to herself that she would have to hurry if this little village had any hopes of rebuilding their lives in the future. Chances were that even if she successfully saved the village and they rebuilt their lives, they would require the protection of the village's shinobi since most of their men would be dead. Lest bandits and others seeking to exert their power over the weakened village, took advantage of this village's misfortune.

Quickly Rei went into motion, stepping off at full speed: she would rush passed three of the cultists and with her speed and strength alone, clubbing them across their heads and splitting their skulls. As their bodies hit the ground and began to spew their lifeblood, mixing with that of their slain victims- the nearest survivors began to flee in panic. Suddenly a deliverer had come and given them a means to escape. Carving a path in the cultists, she had cleared the way for the villagers to begin fleeing while not pursued. To be precise, to chase after the fleeing villagers, the cultists would now have to pass through the place which Rei had strategically placed herself. Normally, it was a foolish thing to place oneself as the main focus of countless assailants, yet Rei would have it no other way. "Bring out your leader if you value your lives." she would say in warning.

She gave them fair warning as she stood there, her white haori now partially splattered with fresh blood of the cultists's fellow followers. Rei noted with the vision of her byakugan that the ones she had previously struck down did not stand up after being struck by her fists. So.. It would appear that the followers do not yet possess immortality.
Yet I better not underestimate them, nor assume every one of them is the same. Else I might strike one down and get caught off guard when they arise from the ground again. Of course catching the byakugan off guard was nigh impossible but for those who knew the weakness of the doujutsu, which were few indeed. And even fewer who had lived the tale to tale it. Fewer still who had the skill and speed to accomplish the task.

She had given them full warning, seeking the opportunity to decrease the amount of bloodshed necessary to end this conflict. Yet truth be told, she preferred it this way. The fanatical murderers did not deserve to live. No, they deserved death and to be returned to the land where their spirits may be cleansed of their defilement. As expected, they did not heed her warning and decided to attack in mass number, which only served to elicit a small grim smile from the princess as she widened her foot stance and raised her arms as she began to spin at a high tempo. Chakra was released from her tenketsu points and along with her spinning motion, creating a rotational orb of powerful chakra that met the assailants head on. The rotation stopped the attackers and reversed their position. Instead of going forwards, they suddenly found themselves flying backwards and crashing into nearby buildings.

Once repelled and knocked off their guard, she would speak loudly in a voice of divine authority. "Immortal or not, you shall all burn for your transgressions. By fire you shall be purged!" she would exclaim as chakra once more erupted from her tenketsu points and released a blast wave of red chakra. As the burst of chakra expanded outwards a full ten meters, it would catch all of her assailants in range and the buildings alike. The buildings would ignite into flames fiercer than the flames the cultists had started, while the cultists themselves would scream in horror as their bodies were dried of their liquids. Their bloodcurdling screams and cries drying up just as their bodies did until only silent shriveled corpses remained.

With her immediate threats taken care of, Rei would gather herself from her position and begin to inspect the cultists. None of them were jashinists. "So... The leader is not among his followers. Typical. Were it only that easy to defeat troublesome masterminds..." she cut off her speech mid-sentence as she ducked low suddenly. A flying leg kick passed over her head and as soon as the kick passed by her head, she jumped up into the air to avoid the low sweeping strike of a similar-fashioned scythe of the cultists. It seemed someone of decent skill had appeared in an attempt to catch her off guard and attack from behind, assuming it would be successful. Naturally such a surprise attack was hardly a surprise to the hyuga princess and she responded by counter-attacking from above the assailant's head with a dropping axe kick to the man's collarbone that held his weapon. "So the master shows himself only after his followers wither away. Convenient. Were you a real mastermind, you would have attacked with your followers."

The kick had been solid but not enough. Her intent was to crush the man's collarbone and prevent him from wielding the sharp weapon... yet all she had been able to do was make his grip loosen and drop the scythe. His surprise had been full when Rei had evaded and countered him, much more so that she had forced him to drop his instrument of death. The man had a scarred face, countless cuts healed over. His eyes eyed the scythe and told Rei that his mind was telling him to reach for it: yet, his instincts told him that there was a tiger waiting to strike its prey if he went for the move. Instead, he relied on his experience and body. Recovered from his surprise, he stepped backwards from the scythe and took up a fighting stance. "Few people ever have lived after my surprise attack.
You are lucky you have that fancy doujutsu to be your crutch!" he said, sneering at her.

It was bait, he was attempting to draw Rei rashly into acting by invoking the rage behind her peoples' pride. He was a fool. Nonetheless he prodded at a delicate matter, as was with all hyuga. It seemed he knew a thing or two about manipulating people as well. It was no wonder he was the leader of fanatical cultists. Rei responded, however not the way he had expected. "Only a fool relies upon one thing. My proud clan's legacy may be their doujutsu, but the martial art developed from that doujutsu is what has made my family the most powerful clan in Konoha." she would say, blunting the man's sneering comment with sound rebuttal. That was not the only sound rebuttal he would receive however. Even as the last of the words left her lips, her physical form would remain stationary but the man would find himself suddenly assaulted by invisible strikes all up and down his body. Painful bruising strikes but nothing that his durable body couldn't endure. More than anything, the strikes he received unsettled him, for he knew not where they had come from. By all accounts, the hyuga woman standing before him in the dancing lights of flames hand't moved an inch!

The man coughed up blood even though he stood his ground. In total, he counted the painful spots on his body: eight in total. Eight strikes against his body that targeted his vital organs and joints to his arms and legs. "What- How did you-?!" he would start and only be interrupted as his own body betrayed him by coughing up more blood. His strength would weaken then, causing his feet to stagger and his knees fight against his will in desire to buckle. Yet his pride would not allow it, he would not allow himself to fall to his knees before this hyuga: not even as his eyes began to blur. He refused to bow! The mastermind of the cultists was reduced to a rabid dog before the princess and his true nature was beginning to show. He used willpower alone to resolute his body into committing an attack. Though he was immortal, he had not felt fear until this time in life ever since his "rebirth" Before him stood a callous and talented tigress. If he didnt do something serious, he would not make it from this scene with less than his broken body. With that thought in mind, he activated the chakra circulatory system's tenketsu points within him to activate his Gates.

Rei had been watching him this whole time of course with her Byakugan and took clear note when the man activated the third of the eight Gates. Amazed and alarmed, Rei responded appropriately by activating her own tenketsu and summoning the power of the two Gates she herself possessed. While he had hoped to gain the advantage against her, his advantage was minimal and that was by far the biggest surprise to him. It was only then with his advanced physique and heightened sense of danger that he had noticed the nine illusions of Rei circled about him. Bewildered and suddenly panicked, he was uncertain of which hyuga to strike! Which was the real one? If he was fighting this many opponent's at once and had no clue which was the real one, he would just attack them all at once! He jumped upwards into the air a good thirty meters and began to ready a power powerful punching technique.

Suddenly Rei was faster still than the cultist leader himself! Not just her, but her eight illusions as well! As he began to descent towards the ground for an earth shattering strike, seven of the illusions rose to meet him in the sky. One strike after another did the man endure to his credit, each strike weakened his form by punching or kicking him on his exposed sides and even his face. Instinctively his eyes had closed to protect his eyes from damage- and yet when his eyes opened, another illusion was flying upwards towards his descending position. It was not the illusion that worried him, for he could withstand a punch or kick... but this hyuga ghost held in its arms his scythe! His beaten body trembled suddenly just the moment before he felt the slicing motion sensation of his scythe cutting cleanly through his neck. The illusions of Rei disappeared and the man's body fell to the ground harmless, in two pieces of course. A body and a head. Each fell with a harm "thump". Beside the head, the scythe fell too, slicing into the ground only an inch away from the jashinist master's face. His eyes wide in horror, he could see his body laying only a couple of feet from his position, the scythe separating them. "Curse you devil woman! What have you done to me!" yelled the jashinist, unable to die or return to his body.

Rei ignored him for a moment, only acknowledging him by picking up his corpse and throwing it into the flames at the man's verbal disagreement. "No!
Stop! My body what are you doing!" he yelled in vain as Rei then walked up to him and grabbed the biggest rock she could find and shoved it violently in his mouth, crushing his teeth and dislodging his jaw to shut him up. He was a prisoner of war, unable to die and unable to move. He was hos own prisoner and surely her village would find use in studying a jashinist, if even only a head. She held him by the scruff of his hair and held his head at her side, his eyes panicking to and fro as though he were begging for any of his cultists to still be alive and save him from the tiger of a woman.
