Appearance: Hio is a person whom wishes to dress properly. Unfortunately for others, properly is according to Hio’s own deranged mind. This means that her outfits can vary from random school outfits, to a suit, to a mismatched colored and outfit. Often you will find that Hio doesn’t wear the same outfit every day, as she has a multitude of clothes, as unlike some people she values not owning the same outfit ten times over. Such a varied clothing selection has gotten her in trouble before for “not being in uniform” because a flat jacket or the kunai just don’t go well with her outfit today. Having said all of this, her selfish attitude towards apparel ends when she must take something seriously, though she’ll still try and keep an aspect of the attire according to her own mood. Having discussed her style of dress, the actual articles of clothing should be discussed as well. She avoids the whole fish net look some of the girls do as it is annoying and finding colors other than black and slut pink is difficult. Indeed, she tends to avoid outfits that would make her look loose, which in a ninja world is a surprising number of outfits. Typically, this means she must find a balance between looking good and trying not to paint a negative image of herself, for this reason she likes dresses and skirts and look warm but aren’t too short, and prefers tops that don’t expose too much but compliment her style. Of course, all that goes out the window when she must try and be “official” and wear more of the standard uniform, except for sandals because if she stubs her toe on another branch she’s going to sue the village. Honestly, she likes the flak-jacket, but only if she gets it in a different color as the standard dark green is too bland for her, and doesn’t mesh well, so typically she’ll try and dye it black or red, even if red is one of the worst color to try and hide in. Hio likes to hide most of her equipment within scrolls simply because the jingle of kunai bumping into each other is annoying to her, and if she had to carry all the stuff she wanted on her person always she would probably have back issues akin to a spine breaking in half. Hio rarely wears accessories unless it is a special occasion, or they are somehow beneficial to her, be it from a seal on them etc.

Hio’s appearance is straight forward to observers. She has sharp red eyes which seem to indicate her passionate attitude, even if she can be lazy in many areas. Her hair is that of a deep black in color, and is naturally straight and slightly easy to maintain, not that it doesn’t stop her from taking too much care of it on occasion. This naturally straight hairstyle annoys her when she attempts to style it in strange ways to fit with her current mood and so if her outfit is funky, but her hair is boring you’ll know that she gave up halfway through. In terms of length her hair reaches to her waist in length, an impractical style to be sure but she doesn’t care. Physically Hio would say she isn’t all that attractive, but in her mind, she would judge that most girls are ugly compared to her. Yes, she’s a bit of an arrogant girl when it comes to her looks even if she will never admit it, she’s almost delusional to a certain degree about it. Her skin is fair, like that of a lovely maiden. Hio would never state to anyone that she has better skin than them or has a better figure and instead would deny it and say they are better, but in her head, she would be thinking about how they aren’t all that special compared to her. This modesty, while in the form of an act, isn’t used for manipulation other than her appearing as a nicer person in front of them all the while thinking about how she is better for simply being born a certain way, no matter how incorrect the reality is. Hio is above average in height at 5’ 9”. Her weight is no one’s business, but those annoying medical people like to keep track of it, so she’s about 125 pounds. Hio’s facial features are soft most of the time, which helps with her coming off as a nice girl rather than a selfish child. She doesn’t have any notable blemishes, though she isn’t perfect skin wise even if she thinks she is.

Personality: Hio is an honest go getter style of person. She doesn’t give up on what she wants easily, but conversely, she won’t go for anything she doesn’t enjoy or view that she will enjoy. This limits her abilities on occasion as her drive ends up waning if something becomes tiresome to deal with, or so easy that it isn’t worth her time to do in the first place. Due to this attitude towards life and activities Hio has a selfish streak, even if she tries and appear humble or concerned about others. She’ll smile and nod when others speak to her about their problems, but she won’t fully care about them, instead she will only think about what interest trying to help them could provide her. Due to this attitude she finds it harder to make friends as the longer you are around her the more apparent it can become if she starts to space out when you are talking. This isn’t to say that Hio is cruel, she doesn’t go out of her way to make others miserable unless they have done the same to her, and even then, she normally lets it go in favor of focusing on what she enjoys.

Due to her more selfish nature some question if she has morality issues. While there certainly is a small screw loose in the girl’s head, she doesn’t try to go out of her way to focus on cheating or playing dirty as it won’t allow her to test her improvements. While she isn’t the biggest saint in the world, as she has qualms with killing someone, she certainly isn’t about to run out and commit atrocities without some reason or purpose. Hio abides by the law, though if she dislikes one she tries to skirt around it a bit more than most people would. Thankfully Hio’s ideals typically match up with what the laws of the land are and don’t involve going out of her way to do harm, though if she pushed enough anything could be possible due to her inner selfish nature.

Emotionally Hio experiences the typical range, though she never seems to experience regret for her actions. This is the main reason for her mind not being all there, though it is probably a good thing for a ninja to never regret an action otherwise they could live with horrible consequences. Other than this Hio isn’t stunted in any way emotionally, though she normally just experiences more self-centered emotions due to her desire to avoid that which is boring or uncomfortable to her, though perhaps that is the healthiest of habits she has.


Character History: Born into the Senju family, one could say that Hio’s childhood was good, and at the same a nightmare. Granted she is still a child but she tends to act a bit older than her age when it comes to management money and time than most. This is because as a child she had everything provided for her, almost in excess. The only thing she didn’t have provided was the care of her parents. While Hio is a citizen of the Fire Country she wasn’t born in the Leaf Village, instead her father owned his own parcel of land elsewhere in the country. Rather than being a ninja as several Senju desire, her father was a very pronounced business man who had managed to become quite wealthy. In these pursuits he became wicked in his desires, turning to believing his own importance outweighed that of others. Using wealth, he viewed he could obtain anything, and in that pursuit, he obtained many women to act as his wives. In this regard Hio was born to the man’s third wife and as such was entitled to something of his fortune. As a young child Hio was spoiled rotten to the point where she would break things for fun till she got something better, it was only after her mother passed and her father didn’t come to the funeral that Hio started to realize that money couldn’t buy her everything, and she shouldn’t be so wasteful.

Even though she would never have to work a day in her life, Hio started to ponder if that was a life worth living all at a very young age. Deciding that she didn’t want to just coast off her father and his wealth, especially when he didn’t care much for her beyond her being a show of his wealth, she decided to try and enroll in the ninja academy at the Leaf Village. Oddly enough no one opposed her, in fact her father paid for it and the apartment that she stayed in. Begrudgingly Hio accepted the money and went to the academy. Focusing all her effort on doing the best she could Hio had stellar grades, she wasn’t the best in the class, but she wasn’t terrible at all. The problems came after she graduated and found that the life of a Genin was boring to her, she didn’t have much to do beyond just a few odd jobs and so she coasted on by for a while on them and was just happy to be apart from her father and his entire way of life. Hio did the odd bit of training here or there but Hio mostly spent her days bitter towards those who viewed her incompetent enough to not take on serious missions. In a selfish act of defiance Hio decided to start trying for once and to attempt to improve her skills, not for their recognition but so she could secretly laugh them off, that and she would no longer need her fathers support if she could afford to live on her own smoothly, which was another goal she had in mind.
