| Well, it seemed Hibiya didn't get caught. Or at least, he was far enough away to not have heard the explosion tag. That could be good. She waited for her captors to appear, so she could glean who they were dealing with. Sure enough, there was a foot fall near her, so whens she turned her head her eyes were met with a tall, tan man looming over her. His chest was bare save for some wrappings on his arms and neck. The bottom part of his face was also wrapped, so only his gray eyes and black hair were visible. His bottom half had more ninja-typical garb, loose green pants, leg wrappings, and boots.
"Trespasser," he said in a low voice, the angle of his brows signalling his displeasure. It wasn't clear if he was addressing her or speaking to someone not yet revealed. "That's me," she replied anyway, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry! I was just chasing a dodo...or at least I think it was a dodo," Yori continued. His only response was to grab her by the back of the neck and shove her forward. The man didn't seem particularly strong. Should she break out now, or wait and see why these ninja were so hostile. Perhaps it was just a sacred area like the Nishizaka. Curiosity was getting the better of this cat, but she justified it easily. She was a jounin, and she needed to discern whether this guy and any he was with were friend of the Konoha or enemy. Threat assessment was her duty! Shoving her roughly forward, she let him lead her through the palm trees, and soon it seemed she was being taken to a small camp.

| A group of people seemed to surround the obvious Yori, her hair standing out among the members. They all seemed to have a bind on her to prevent her from moving, likely to be cut should he get in range. So he stopped a few trees away, inspecting the situation from the branches and seeing if he could get any earshot of what they were saying. The only bit of information he got was that she explained that she was chasing a stupid bird, a Dodo bird to be exact. With that bird in mind, he prepared to throw a knife to throw their attention towards his direction before he made a run for it, giving Yori enough a distraction to see if she can fight back against them.
So he plucked a shiny kunai blade from his right pocket pouch before taking a good aim towards a nearby tree around the ninja. With one swift flick of his wrist, the knife flew through the air gracefully with a twisting motion, digging into the tree at a notable distance where all of them could see and avert their attention. Hibiya's hope would be for Yori to take advantage of the distraction and at least get herself free. But if not, chances are that they were likely going to think of her as a threat with allies, and that wasn't going to help their case.

| Yori had been watching carefully, despite her naive babbling she'd continued to maintain as she was transported to the camp. The man who had initially captured her had possessed eyes so pale they'd almost been white. It made her think of the Hyuga clan, but he had pupils, so she didn't think that was the case. Besides, they wouldn't be living out here on an island. A clan as high on the food chain as that was better suited to life in the big villages of the countries.
The grip he had on the back of her neck had been pretty weak at the start, but the closer they got to his allies, the stronger the grip got. By the time she reached the camp, it was actually quite painful, and even with her leg strength he managed to shove her off balance into the middle of a small clearing. Two others were present, both also a bit scantily clad up top, but with their arms, necks, and lower half of their faces wrapped. Once she landed on the ground, she rolled over to say something, but was startled into silence. Was this...the same guy? His muscles were much more well defined, but that wasn't even the weird part. Those eyes that had almost been white they were so light gray were mere shades away from black.
The three had just started discussing what they should do with her when the kunai thunked into a nearby tree. All three of them looked, two going to investigate while her captor stayed to keep a wary eye on her. "How many of you?" he spoke shortly, glaring down at her. As the other two covered a little distance, this guys eyes lightened slightly. So...did whatever this was have to do with proximity? She'd keep it in mind, but now she needed to get away. Not knowing what their abilities were, she didn't want to do three on one. Wiggling her arms against the wires enough to bring her hands together, she made a handsign. Originally she'd thought of a different jutsu to escape, but this one seemed more suited. Using Corrosive Slime, the pores in her arms started to ooze, and instantly the thin wire was smoking and being eaten away. Springing free, she slung the slime at him, where it burned the flesh of his bare chest and left holes in his pants. He leapt back, but not fast enough. With a grin, her hair lengthened and gathered together into eight tentacles, whipping out at him.
"You know, I was just exploring," she said, wrapping some hair around his arm and slinging him into a nearby tree. "I'm not invading or anything. I'm not an enemy," she tried to convince him, not seriously trying to hurt him. But suddenly there was a stump where he'd been, leaving Yori to look around for him. She caught sight of him. He was fast, but not quite as fast as she was. Dashing in, the exchanged blows, where they both seemed to be gauging each others' strength.
If anything, without her sage buffs, she was a bit stronger. She wasn't worried, but Hibiya being involved complicated things. He was a chuunin, and this wasn't a mission. Perhaps they should just run? Her friend was fast, so they could get away before anything bad happened.
Running out into the forest, she made a wide arc to try and meet up with Hibiya. She easily outpaced her foe....no, wait. He was gaining on her suddenly. How?! Before she could react, his suddenly insane speed overtook her. No wait...there were two of them! A girl was ghosting him, just as fast. He used a wind jutsu to try and cut her, but she substituted at the last moment. However, the girl in the back jumped onto the man's back, using it as a springboard. The log used in Yori's substitution was another lightning fast step, and before Yori could even bring her hair around to block, a crushing hand was around her throat and ramming her into the ground. The Nishizaka was stunned for a moment, unable to think clearly enough to respond.

| Seems she took the chance to escape, which means that she could make a break for it! Or... Not. The men seemed to have their eyes on her, and despite throwing one of them to a tree nearby, they didn't react too rashly just yet. The kunai gave them all his location, but Yori was the only one to act upon it when she tried to bail a few moments later. Sweet! Just a little closer and he’ll be able to get her out of here before they can catch up. One of the enemies seemed fast enough to catch up to her, and the grip against Yori’s throat triggered a chakra blade summon instantly by his side. Usually calm blue eyes turned icy with harmful intent, glaring at the girl before taking a leap from the tree branch. His speed could match hers without a problem, and he had five blades of chakra to use in order to rip her off. It was going to blow their cover, but they were going to make a break for it before they can get caught.
"This is going to hurt a little." The blonde declared, aiming for a nice clean shoulder scratch with one of the chakra blades. It successfully landed and loosened the grip on Yori's throat, the girl letting out a yelp of pain. But he acted more on impulse rather than mercy, swiftly swinging his right foot up onto her stomach to send her flying, her back hitting against a tree with enough force to make the tree shake. "Not going to let you pricks touch a friend." Hibiya muttered, looking down to Yori while the rest of the tribe members were charging.
Reaching out a palm towards the young Nishizaka clan member, he waiting for her to take it so they could hopefully make a run for it, but he wasn't going to force her up while she may be suffering with a lack of breath. "We need to bail!"

| Yori sucked in a breath, erupting into chokes. Her least favorite thing about being choked was the contradictory nature when recovering. Air is cut off, so as soon as it is returned, the body sucks it in, only to heave it back out in chokes that prevents sucking in more needed air. It didn't make sense. Yes, her throat was hurting which was the channel the air had to flow through, but still.
She took his hand and staggered up, her body sluggish. A few more seconds, and she probably would have passed out. That would've been embarrassing, her being a higher rank than her friend and all. "Hhh...H-Hibiya..." she rasped, her voice halting. She tried to clear it as they began running. "They...get stronger...in proximity to one another. The eyes..." Yori tried to inform him, the hoarseness in her voice indicative of just how hard the woman had been gripping her windpipe. Blood trickled from her brow, getting in one eye and obscuring her vision a little.
The enemy team of four seemed to have regrouped, closing in on them on cardinal points. The closer they got, the faster and stronger they were. Yori looked behind her, her hair growing into long arms with fists. She took advantage of the range her hair offered, punching the one behind her into a bush and tripping the left one by grabbing his ankle.

| There was no way she was going to be running properly while choking on blood and the lack of oxygen running in her mind right now. Barely even able to fight in the first place, he wasn't going to let her continue with that sort of wound. While he didn't have anything to heal her with, he could at least save her the stress of running. So the blonde attempted to use the same hand he grabbed hers with to pull her close to him. Should she not resist his pull, he'd quickly let go and turn around, crouching right after. The goal was to give her a piggyback ride so that she doesn't have to worry about running and can intead focus on recovery.
"It seems like we're going to have to split them apart then. But I'm not leaving you behind the way you are right now." Hibiya explained, making a massive break for it, regardless if he was holding her hand or her whole body on his shoulders. Sadly, with the many things he was focusing on, he lacked the ability to throw chakra blades as the runners behind him, so he was going to leave that taste to a bleeding defenseless girl. Two of them fumbled from her hair attacks, weakening the speed of the other two and thus allowing Hibiya an advantage over them, so he continued to press on foot hoping that no more resistances will pop up.

| Now riding on his back, she reached up to gingerly touch her throat. Wow, what a dumbass she was. She chased a stupid bird into hostile territory. Blood dribbled down her chin as she tried to breathe better. So embarrassing. She turned to look behind them. No one was there at all...wait. The four were overtaking them again, this time running close together for maximum effect. Her hair extended subtly, a few thin strands fanning out behind them on the island floor. She made the appropriate hand sign and cast her genjustu Tress Distress.
As her hair was stepped on by their pursuers, the earth under their feet turned to complete hair, shocking them and gripping their feet. They started screaming in panic, since that much hair was alarming even if it wasn't wrapping them up. They were completely incapacitated..in their heads anyway. In reality, it looked like they simply stopped moving, paralyzed with uncomfortable expressions.
"Heh," she laughed as they left them in the dust, though soon she was coughing again. At least now they were making it to the beach, safely out of whatever hostile territory they'd been in.

| They… Stopped? When he looked over his shoulder, they just had constipated faces equipped, but the important part was that they managed to escape. Hibiya didn’t want to stop when he can finish the task. Unfortunately for him, he’s not too aware of genjutsu techniques and their capabilities. Regardless, he finally stopped near shore again where their hang-glider can be found, buried into the sand. Making sure to be delicate when doing so, he’d lower his back so that Yori’s feet can touch the ground sandy ground once again. As for him, he felt a bit winded from the panicking and bailing, it was time to rest for a bit until they found a way out of here.
But first, it was time to address the bloody wounds on her neck. “Don’t bleed out on me just yet, don’t you have some healing technique or medicine?” The Ayano asked. If she didn’t possess one, he was likely going to have to do it for her with samurai coating, though that meant he had to directly touch where the blood was coming from, meaning he’ll have to apply pressure against her throat for an uncomfortable amount of time. Damn, it seems their stunts went too far.

| Though a bit gruesome, Yori still grinned despite the blood. It wasn't a big deal, not yet anyway. It was tough getting enough air, but she wasn't in danger yet. She felt silly that she'd almost forgotten she could heal herself, but she was a little air deprived and still a little stunned, so maybe she'd cut herself a break. Plopping down into the sand, she nodded in response to the medical ninjutsu question. Her right hand glowed green as she placed it on her own throat. Within a few moments, she was breathing normally, and the mental fog started to clear.
"Thanks for the extraction, Hibiya," she said, still a little hoarse but much improved. Yori was a bit sheepish, to say the least. "Heh heh...Sorry! But how could I have known there were hostile ninja on the island of dodos?" asked the young jounin, her hair pulling itself up into a bun on top of her head. "And you thought the Nishizaka were protective of their territory. The most we'd do is just maybe give you a whip and then restrain you for investigation. Those guys were nuts..." Yori reached up to wipe the blood from her mouth and eye with her free hand, effectively smearing it.

| When she thanked him for getting her out of there, he let out a small nod despite the pride that followed up soon afterwards. To think he could rescue a Jounin from danger, potential death perhaps. It didn't occur to him that she likely could have wiped them out, the amount of power that a Jounin possesses is something to be reckoned with, power he had yet to tap. Her apology though warrented a few words. "I think you're not the one to be apologizing about that. Whose idea was it in the first place?" Hibiya asked rhetorically, placing his hands in his pockets as his gaze locked onto the water. They were not too far from the forests that belonged to the home of the Nishizaka clan. Chakra control, it was now or never before they got to the other side on foot.
"Your children though should be playing with with kunai and climbing up trees, right?" The blonde asked, shivering a small amount when he heard their voices in his head while they talked about whipping him. Glad they were unable to carry out that task, he exhaled to calm his nerves a small amount before looking back over to Yori. "After that run, I don't have the strength to throw the glider like a paper airplane. Unless we run back on the water, I don't think we'll be seeing out families anytime soon."

| "Don't all shinobi children play with kunai and run up trees?" she asked, tilting her head as she thought about it. Once her healing was as good as it could be, she made her way to the water to wash her face. Straightening, she looked out over the landscape toward the trees in the distance. "Well, now that I can breathe, I can make it across no problem. Those guys were fun. Next time I won't be caught off guard," Yori grinned, placing her hands on her hips in a rather confident pose, the setting sun casting an orange glow over her and glinting in her eyes.
Her distant expression focused back in as she turned her attention to Hibiya. There was now a bit of mischief, though that seemed to be her normal. "I can carry you back. You know, to repay you. How quickly do you want to return?" the girl asked, seeming innocent, which was enough warrant suspicion.

| "Absolutely. But not all shinobi get excited for tormenting a prisoner." He replied, though now regretful for continuing the conversation. The blonde proceeded to reply to her so that he didn't have to answer so much for that memory that he'd rather have burning in the back of his mind. "Sounds great! In that case, he can charge back through the water." The Ayano declared, look back to the water with a smile at last. It's been a fun day, despite Yori nearly dying in the process. Still, she seemed to enjoy herself. All the trouble they've been through was so much fun.
Though the next statement that followed through was odd. Taking a look back to her, she tried to play off the same innocent look she did when she planned to do something to him that was just straight up deceitful. Stepping back a little bit, he dared not to go along with her plan… Though he lacked the strength to resist her much if she had enough to force him. Still, it didn’t hurt to make an attempt. "Oh no, I think I'm good." He lied, pretty sure she wasn't going to pay his words much attention.

| "You think? No need to act tough," she mock scolding him, shooting him a knowing glance as she seemed to decide something. She approached him slowly, appearing to be appraising his physical condition. "You had to run really fast, and with me on your back. Actually, now that I think about, you are really fast. I'm surprised! I would have to use my hair to even keep up with you without using sage mode," Yori mused. "Such an impressive chuunin."
With a grin, she brought her hands together and touched the marks at her wrists. Her hair flashed, glowing down the markings across her arms, and widening the already gray marks on her eyelids. The eye markings lengthened into a band. He probably couldn't see it, but she had an aura. Before Hibiya could escape, she grabbed him up and took off at a blinding speed across the water. She cackled gleefully, enjoying being able to show him what she could do, especially after he'd pretty much saved her. Couldn't have him thinking she was weak now, right? "We'll be home in no time!"

| She straight up buttered him until he was pretty much drowning in her fake concern and compliments. She walked towards him, trying to distract him despite him knowing full-well it was just a rouse to have his guard lowered. Well that was a shame on her end, because he was damn well aware of it! But being aware of it meant little in this scenario, as when she got close enough, he suddenly felt the ground below him being swiped from his stance as she straight up launched the both of them together, carrying him through the ocean at high speeds far beyond unimaginable for him. While he hit speeds close enough to them, they were still higher speeds than he could reach, which was just insane in itself.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Not even a word could be said, seeing nothing by blurs of blue from the ocean as her cold little stunt was more than enough to send ripples through his body, he just wasn't mentally prepared for it. On top of the lack of energy, now he was seeing all sorts of things in his head. Worst case scenario would be for her to trip, and just that thought alone was more than enough for him to scream louder when she declared they'll be home in no time.

| If he thought going over flat water was bad, he was going to freak in a moment or so. Yori laughed even louder as he screamed, confident in her steps. He was in no danger, but she did suppose it was a bit much. The girl just couldn't help herself. Soon, the water met land. Sand kicked up as she flew over it. And then...straight into the trees! She was so dexterous that not even a leaf touched them. Yeah, she was just showing off, but at least she pushed them out of Nishizaka territory and onto a neutral path before she stopped.
All the signs of sage mode disappeared as she turned it off, skidding to a flashy stop. Gently she put him on his feet, pleased with herself. "See? We're nearly to the gate. I would've taken us all the way in, but they frown upon entrances like that. They say it's alarming," Yori shrugged, catching her breath. "This has been a really fun day. Thank you, Hibiya," she added, a little more serious than before. She may love to mess with him, but she did want him to know she appreciated the time he was spending with her. It was a welcome change.

| "You're mean!" Hibiya declared as she explained that it had been a fun day. She placed down the shaken adolescent as he struggled to find a recovery on his feet. After moving left and right for a bit, he shook his head from side to side and let the words drink in to his ears. "But... I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you had fun as much as I did, then I'm glad that we got to do this." Hibiya explained, feeling inside his pocket as he would pluck out the white magnolia. Funny, it looked as lively as ever. He daresay it looked a bit brighter and stronger than before, funny how life worked like that. The blonde placed the item back in his pocket before then looking towards the village gates.
"While it's been fun, we have to put this to an end. Let's go back into the village and call it a day." The Ayano explained, pacing towards the village once again like their last encounter. He felt closer to her, something a bit more personal with all this time they had spent together. It felt refreshing and gave him a sense of freedom to do such extremes with someone. It's a shame they had to split, but it was time for them to do so for now. And so he went.
