| Bet woke up with an excited grin etched onto his face. Today, his sensei, the HOKAGE, was taking team seven on an actual mission! This was what he had been training for! And he HAD been training. He was much stronger now than he had been the last time his team had met, and he couldn't wait to test himself against new opponents! He climbed out of bed and threw on his normal clothes, his tail wrapping itself around his waist, not that it ever stayed there. He would grab a pork bun and head out the door and towards the designated meeting spot to prepare for the mission. When he arrived to Training ground #7, he found that he was the first one there. It was also at this moment that he realized that the sun had yet to rise and he was several hours early. He decided that since he messed up and arrived so early, he may as well take the time to train and warm up properly before the mission. So, he went about doing his normal warm-up exercises, 500 Sit ups, 1,000 Push ups, 30 laps around the training ground and some inverted push ups, also known as hand-stand push ups. This took him most of the morning, and by the time he was halfway through his inverted push ups, the sun had risen above the trees and the meeting was upon him. | |

| Akira had been rather excited this morning even if she looked normal, had her typical poker face in place. With the impending moment of the first real mission, the first one involving actual violence, she would have her chance to show her mentor and team that even if she lacked her Sharingan, she was anything but a weak link. The past few weeks of hard practice and burn marks she had to explain as cooking goof-ups? Would be beyond worth it! Of course, she needed the perfect opportunity to show off first, and that was the dilemma, was this first mission really the right time. Akira decided to bode time, grabbing up the long piece of fabric wrap her sword was normally held within and tying it together in the front of her chest, so she could carry the hidden blade nearly large as her own self, without any trouble. If she needed the weapon, she'd have it, if she didn't then no one else knew she had it.
Upon arriving at the meeting place, she noticed Bet was already there, doing his hyperactive macho nonsense. Without a word the female ninja took a seat at the top of a training pole, long hair blowing in the wind around them as she sat her hands in her tan short covered lap, sun reflecting off her belt worn forehead protector, waiting for their mentor, the hokage, to arrive. Honestly it was a bit weird, and she was still adjusting to the fact Kosuke was no longer around, she'd have to check on Kazue when they got back from this mission, honestly, she was worried about the new Uchiha head, Akira couldn't imagine being without her family. Right now, she just prayed Rei was swift, she didn't want to have to listen to her teammate for too long, he didn't strike her as very intelligent.

| Stats: Jutsu: Late, that was the first word and impression of Rei as her new title of Hokage. Truth be told, not many days had passed since the Hokage Kosuke's funeral and her ascension to Nidaime Hokage. Yet here she was now, quickly leaving the Koage office that she had seen Kosuke sit behind so many times. Piles upon piles of paperwork, both new and old sat on her desk. There was so much to do and more still, she would have to leave a fair bit of it to the assistant while she quickly rushed off to the training grounds to meet with her two new students. No doubt she was late, she could tell that much just by the day light. Part of the reason she was late was due to the mountain of paperwork she had been working on the night before... The other half, was several important village officials had argued with her early this morning about her going on missions. She was the new Hokage and it was too dangerous for her to leave the village: especially only so soon after the first Hokage's murder. Valid concerns, yet Rei would remain unperturbed from her plans. Uncle Kosuke had put all of his faith and trust into her and Rei would not betray his trust... Nor would she neglect the final order he had given her, to raise and train the last team he had assigned before his death.
Rei traveled swiftly and silently through the now lighting morning where the sun began to cascade over the mostly-repaired Hokage mountain monument. Even now, her face was being carved beside Kosuke's. Rei thought about a great many things in that short distance to the training grounds. From Kazue to her own role as hyuga clan head. Kazue and Rei had both lost their fathers at the same time and were thus promoted to positions and titles of great responsibility. She would have to go visit her dear childhood friend after she got back from this mission. She would stow away those thoughts and emotions for now as she came across the training ground. Bet was there and from the way he was acting, it seemed he had arrived first... and more than likely, quite a bit earlier than expected. Second was Akira, whom sat upon a pole and was trying her best to wait patiently and not pay too much attention to Bet's activities. They were an interesting team. Two parts of complete opposites and yet Rei couldn't help but think that they went together so well. That left Rei curious as to how they would have reacted if they had a third teammate as was per custom. "Alright, gather around." she would call out as she leaped out into the open and slowed her pace to a casual walk. She had changed into her shnobi clothing the night prior and stuffed her hokahe robes and hat into the desk at the office. Today she wore her typical black clothing with the white haori. Except now, her white jacket carried more weight. Weight in the sense that her jacket held two new symbols, symbols that signified her as both the Nidaime Hokage as well as the clan head of the hyuga clan. "Good morning Bet, Akira." she would say warmly to the two students and then bend low to the ground and begin to draw a formation into the dirt. What she was writing of course was the latest report from scouts on the bandits' camp layout. "This will be our plan. So Bet, you pay close attention. The leaders of the camp are positioned to the South of the camp's bonfire. All of their lackeys are further towards the North across a small stream of water. Our objective is to kill the two leaders of the bandit camp and all of their followers should scatter. Bet, Akira. The two of you will create a distraction to the South and draw the attention of the bandits. While they are distracted, I will sneak into their headquarters and take out the two leaders." she would explain their plan and then wait momentarily to see if either of her students had objections or questions.

| Bet didn't notice Pigtail-chan show up since he was so focused on his warming up. But, when he hear Rei-sensei approach he immediately took note of his Sensei and Teammate. Walking over to where Rei was, he would acknowledge both of them, "Yo, Pigtail-chan, Nidaime-sensei!" Upon hearing his sensei begin to explain their plan for what would be their first real mission, he paid close attention, especially when she said where the strong enemies would be. He wouldn't let them in on it, but he planned to take at least one of them on to show his sensei, but mostly Pigtail-chan, that he wasn't stupid, and could handle himself in a real mission. "Yosh! Let's get going then!" He would say, punpung a fist into the air. It was time to get on the road, he was beyond excited to get his first experience out of the village underway! | |

| Maybe she could have chosen a better perch than the exposed top of a training pole, considering the wind had free access to her pigtails where she was, luckily she had never been prone to tangles in spite of the length her hair had grown to. Rei showed up in not horrible time, but soon Akira wished the Hokage would have been able to arrive faster, yet understood that their captain just leaving the village was a big deal due to how big of a target Rei could quickly become if an enemy realized who she was. "Miss Rei..." she looked at the woman, jumping down from her perch, brow slightly furrowed in a barely notable way. "Are you sure it's a good idea to wear something that announces how important you are? It could put you in unnecessary danger outside the village." the female had her hand over the Hokage symbol on Rei's robe, finger's trailing down the Hyuga head one. What was it like to be as important as Rei was? She briefly wondered about it, but shook the thought, she'd never become anything close.
"But if the distraction is too notable, they'll go on high alert." she crouched down next to their teacher, with her own little stick, scribbling a few things into the dirt, rough pictures which showed her thinking of if the distraction was too notably ninja it could have the reverse effect of the bandits grouping around their leader's to protect them instead of scattering like they needed. "What if me and bet transform to look like identical theifs, maybe a few clones too, then one of us gets noticed by the bandits, make them think we're going to steal from them or have stolen, everyone except for the leaders should fallow us not even aware they're following two different people, leaving both the camp empty and a quick way for the two of us to get away from them, we just hide and break the transformation then they won't go after us." the basic skills they learned in the academy should be good for something after-all, this was a case where it was better to keep to simple tactics instead of a full-on fight. If they played it smart? They could avoid a fight except for Rei having to kill the leader's, which was safer for all of them.

| Stats: Jutsu: Akira had the same words that Rei's assistant had. Of course it was a bad idea to wear something provocative that gave away her importance to the shinobi world. It may have been presumptuous and a bit vain, but Rei didn't care about such worries. Truth be told, she was far more powerful than any could understand, furthermore than she had even hinted. Only one person knew half her potential and he was a loyal member of her clan. Kosuke had also known somewhat, though he was dead now... and she was more wearing this announcement to the world to draw out the murderers who had plotted Uncle Kosuke's death. She wanted those murderers to show themselves so she could dispense justice and avenge Kosuke. That was the closest truth to why she wore her haori in such a manner, but she also had a more reasonable excuse. "Akira-chan, one of the reasons I wear my haori is because while I am wearing it: the enemy s focused on me and not the two of you."
Next came the questions to her plan. Akira was full of ideas and Rei didn't mind. It was a learning experience and it was important to be able to look at a situation from many angles. Rei listened carefully and watched Akira's stick drawings with her pearl white eyes before addressing the concern. Just one look at Bet and she could tell, Akira's plan was too complex for the boy. "It's a smart strategy, but I dont think your infiltration would get too far with Bet punching the first bandit he sees. How about you infiltrate while Bet attacks head-on. That way when they go on high alert, you can stab them from behind." she suggested, though maybe she was underestimating these bandits- she fully expected them to be on high alert once the fighting broke out. It wasn't like Rei had plans to kill the bandit leaders quietly anyways. "For the leaders' deaths to have full impact on their underlings, the underlings need to see and know their leaders are dead. Otherwise they might keep fighting or regroup and select new leaders. It's important that the leaders die while on high alert and not subtly." she would explain. Though Akira's plan was good and measured the delicacy of mission success, it lacked the sight of a leader. Something that Rei understood as both Nidaime Hokage and Clan head of the Hyuga clan. Rei was certain that Akira would understand such importance after this mission. Though Rei didn't have the same confidence for Bet.
Unless Akira or Bet had anything else to say, it as time to head out. Rei would stand up abruptly and adjust her clothing as she looked to her left and right at her two pupils. "Are you two ready? First one to the outskirts of the bandit camp gets free dango." she would say, giving incentive to the two of her pupils. She wanted to see their abilities and wanted to let them take the lead on this mission. She was mostly there to test their abilities, see where their limits were and how mature they were mentally. To emphasize on the race, she would take the first leap through the training ground, undoubtedly Bet would not be far behind her, and maybe a reluctant Akira.

| Bet listened as his teammate and sensei spoke, Pigtail-chan has pretty smart ideas, other than the fact he can't use that jutsu she had spoken of. But, he wouldn't let that slow him down. He liked his sensei's suggestion much better anyways. Once she said something about free dango for making it to the outskirts of the bandit camp, he immediately used Zanzōken to vanish, leaving only an afterimage, which gave a salute and a grin as it faded away. Bet himself would then reappear several meters away, though he was already in motion heading towards the bandit camp. He was just behind Rei-sensei-sama, he realized she wasn't using her full speed, but he wasn't using his full potential speed either, though he knew even with that, he wasn't capable of keeping up with her yet. His lack of strength, or true intellect pissed him off to a great degree. He felt like the weakest link of this team, but he suppressed this anger, pushing it deep down and focused on the task ahead, getting to the bandit camp first for the free Dango, his mouth was already watering. For a highly physical clan such as his, they relied on a LOT of energy consumption, so they ate a LOT. Meaning the more free food he could get his hands on the BETter! As he arrived to an aread outside the camp, he could see the walls and some makeshift buildings peeking over the tops. He could smell and see the smoke from a fire billowing into the air. This would be his first real mission and he was beyond pumped to test out his true power! He just had to wait for Pigtail-chan to get there before he made his move. Chakra:275/280 - Jutsu used:
