Fate Day Is Here! Nidaime Raikage is Chosen! [Open]

Today was the day, the day Lucifer had been waiting for every since he was a young genin. It was now his time to take up the mantle as a major village leader, specifically the Raikage but there had also been a note of sadness on this very day. The village was still partially in shambles and there were hundreds and thousands of villagers looking and waiting on his decesion on how to move forward. What he did know was that he needed to call forth and emergency Kage Summit to discuss the problem that is the Black Sun organization not long ago had he received the information that the Shodai Hokage, Kosuke Uchiha had also been murdered.

This all but quickened the pace of the much needed summit but for now Lucifer needed to get past this silly inauguration before he could get to work handling the village. Stepping from out of his new office and heading up to the roof in which looked over the entire village he could see the village elders and several other important figures waiting on him. Lucifer had been dressed in the formal kage cloak with the famous pointed diamond kage hat with silk clothing concealing the back of his head on him.

From the moment he had stepped out he could hear a roar of applause around the village. This was not something he had expected he had thought that the village would initally reject him due to the recent death of the previous Raikage but it was almost as if Lucifer could feel the support of thr entire village behind him. But before he would be able to say anything an elder would make their way to the right side of him before grabbing and raise his arm and hand into the sky. The elder would began shouting something throughout the entire village as Lucifers hand raise causing the excited uproar to increase two fold.

"This is your new Raikage the man who fault to protect the village and put his life on the line to protect our previous Hokage who had perished to an incurable poison... This man is the Nidaime Raikage.... Lucifer Jugo!"

It was supposed to be an auspicious day. The new Raikage had been named yet there was still sadness within the hearts of the villagers. Or at least he believed so. They had not even had a funeral for the Shodai Raikage. He should be glad the villagers are brought about together with cheers of happiness as the an appeared before the villagers. He clapped along with the villagers however he didn't want to appear to be out of place. But still, there were many people good innocent people who lost there lives in the attack. He let out a sigh and gently moved through the crowd and headed towards the front of the group.

As he passed to the front of the crowd he looked up at Lucifer Jugo and nodded his head, though he wasn't sure if the man would look down at the young genin. But he did need to speak to the Raikage eventually perhaps he could grab a moment with him after the ceremony. He raised his hand and cleared his throat loudly when the crowds cheering calmed he looked up at the elders and the nidiaime. " Venerable elder And Nidaime-sama I beg your pardon for this interruption but, what of the lord Shodaime's remains will we have a funeral soon? Also what about the group responsible for the attack have we discovered their name and will we launch a counterattack on them?"

He had to ask these question even if it would bring a sour note. He would not bea able to stand for this if they did not have a proper service for the first Raikage. It would be disrespectful to the dead and he would not have that. aHe sighed stared hard and long at the man known as lucifers eyes. He held his ground remaining roots like a tree. His conviction not wavering even as the stifling silence that had now occurred around the remains of the Raikage tower.

Lucifer knew of the sadness and anger looming in the village and he knew there were going to be questions from villagers everywhere. He had simply been surprised that those in the village had managed to summon as large of an applause as they could to congratulate him in the first place. But as the young ninja who helped protect the Shodai Raikage's body stepped forward and begin asking the burning questions that everyone wanted... no needed to hear all of the applause in the area would go silent as Lucifer could feel thousands of eyes starting upon him waiting for his answer.

Lucifer truly had no response to the questions asked, he just like everyone else was suffering from the loss of his mentor the first raikage but he unlike them was not able to fall apart at the seems he of course just had to fight through it all and attempt to give these people even the slightest amount of peace and thats what he intended to do.

"I am sorry everyone if my inauguration appeared to be unfair to the Shodai Raikage. But thd truth is that the elders and I have decided to postpone a funeral for the Shodai Raikage until we know for sure that the threat against the village is over. For now we have laid the Raikage to rest in a undisclosed location where he can be kept safe from harm...

As far as the enemy we have ascertained their identity and will be handling them according but first I need to meet with the Kage of the villages to inform and strategize on how to handle the group without bringing anymore damage or loss to anyone. I just ask that if anyone hears of the name Black Sun that you remain far away from it and if possible report any mentionings to myself or any of the higher ups."

Lucifer would pause and allow the crowd to disgust his words as well as to hear anything else anyone needed to say. He worried if his words help to calm the spirits of the village he was completely of his league at the moment but he had no choice but to push through this mess.

He listened to the crowd's silence as his question had escaped his lips. He hadn't meant to actually say it out loud but with everything that was going on and all these different feelings. The loss of the villagers and the Raikage was just too much for this young boys heart to endure anymore. He listened to the crowd murmur and a few staring eyes look at him warily. this was a time of celebration yet this young man was causing a slight damper on the festivities somewhat. He, however, was not going to be deterred by the people glares he wanted answers.

He remained still his heart beating inside his chest over and over as he heard the words of the Nidiame Raikage address his question. His hands tensed into fists angrily at the man's words. Yes putting off the Shodai Raikages funeral was somewhat acceptable as well as issuing to not engage against any black sun members. But that still didn't stop the anger he felt for that mysterious organization. They killed there villages leader, its innocent bystanders, and the buildings. All for what? Oh if he ever met a black sun operative one on one he was definitely either going to kill them or beat them into a bloody mess and bring them to the village for questioning.

He shook his head at the thought. No, he can't disobey the Raikages orders no matter what his personal feelings were. A good ninja follows orders. he sighed slowly and nodded his head as he looked at the Lucifer. " As you wish lord second your will be done." He slowly stepped back into the crowd and would become silent and watch the Nidiame continue his inauguration. He needed to decide where he was going to go to complete his task to earn the rank of chunnin.
