| |- Chakra threads -|
Here, the wandering Shinobi found himself once again, alone. Training in one of the various islands that made up the Land of water. Mist clouded his vision, those lavender eyes of his couldn't make out much more than three feet ahead of him. Why choose such an odd location to settle upon for training? Well, if he couldn't see without his dojutsu, then no one else could see without one. Simple. No one would bother him.
Kugeki bend his arms at the elbow, positioning his hands and fingers in preparation for the technique. Concentrating the chakra at the tops of his fingers. Granny Ai once told him the in's and out's of how this worked, but that was it - she threw him scrolls instead. Such an old-fashioned woman.
Like sparks, fingers in randomized orders lit up in blue. The boy focused, probably more than he ever did in his life. This proved to be harder than it looked.
Kugeki halted for now, sighing in annoyance. Staring at his finger tips, his palms facing him.

| Attempt number two!
He could hear a soft monotone of an older woman, recalling his caretaker explaining the process. ["Just concentrate the chakra at the finger tips."] The voice would have said, before throwing scrolls in his face to study. She made it seem so easy. Kugeki shook his head from left to right, curving his lips into a soft smile.
"Alright." He mumbled. Focusing his chakra once again. His finger tips lit up in a florescent blue, blinking on and off between all ten. Like little lights. "Grrr...." He grew frustrated. Suddenly a spark of excitement jolted through the boys being. He focused on them enough for all of them to stay lit up, glowing on each and every finger.
"Yes!" He could almost jump in joy. Though, This was far from mastered, and he had a few more techniques to go after this.
Now to figure out how to make the actual threads.

| He spent so much time trying to focus the chakra at his finger tips, probably around thirty minutes. Hell, the actual technique would be even harder he assumed. Something as simple as chakra threads. The ability could be created, by very concentrated chakra. Very; The actual threads that is.
He watches his fingers closely, adding to the concentrated amount he already was focusing there. They started to extend, approximately a few inches. ["Threads!"] He thought. He watched as the threads extended slowly but surely, for now a shorter range. No more than a few feet ahead of him, as time passed by the threads extended.
An hour in time had passed, and this is all he had got. Approximately two or three feet. Progress was slow, but promising.

| So much time passed, and he felt so confident, that he started to stop and create the technique anew many times over. Even randomizing what finger, or thumb, he would start with without the others. He felt content so far, knowing he was nearing perfection.
Kugeki started to suppress the chakra, making it invisible to the eye. The threads appeared to become invisible, though they were there. Suppressing all ten, then just the index or the ring of his left or right small hands. Kugeki was truly content now! He even managed to extend the chakra threads to mid range, the limit of how far they could go.
A break was much needed. Ku sat himself down on the earths soil. Sitting on his knee's, palms resting on his legs. Maybe he didn't need all of those scrolls and books? Mastering the techniques was the least he could do for Granny Ai. Somewhere she was smiling.

| [-Manipulating blades technique-]
Even though the area was engulfed in a thick mist, Kugeki could make out tree's. The thick bark still visible to the naked eye. Home to many organisms. Life still flourished in these parts, squirrels and birds lived up-top those tree's. Making nests and burrowing inside to make shelters. He reached to his side grabbing five kunai. Stabbing them in the soil near where he stood, a fleshy noise would accompany each stab.
Chakra thread's had their uses, one of which was being able to pick up things. Nothing too heavy, and kunai were right on the list. Each sharp metallic projectile, were complete with a little hole just on the end of the handle. Kugeki used his threads from his right hand to pick up each kunai. One thead per kunai.
They were thrown at a fixed angle right in front of him, not a real target. He performed this by flicking his fingers. Each Kunai stabbed the soil once more.

| Whilst repeating the move over and over, it had taken him some time to realize just one thread could pick up all five while experimenting:
Skillfully he crept one of the threads through each hole in the kunai. Purposely each blade were positioned differently from the next, to keep him on his toes with the chakra thread technique itself. Once the thread snaked its ways through the holes, Kugeki lifted them. Lifting his index finger, of the right hand. The blades floated, each pointing in a specific direction - towards the nearest tree. Many surrounding him while he practiced on the island, but this one was his target. A beautiful tree which stood out among the rest. The mist even couldn't hide this marvelous wooden construct.
The threads moved in wavy patterns, so the blades obviously did the same.
He would have to actually focus while he did this! The slightest mistake could throw off the entire attempt. He flicked his finger, to the right - the threads swung the kunai towards the tree. Only one hit the target, unfortunately. Wood resonated it's natural sound as the kunai stabbed it. Attempt one failed.

| Before Kugeki could target something that had the ability to actually move, he had to first hit something with such an unorthodox method - that could not. He extended his arm for maximum range, since the tree wasn't all that close from where he stood. His index lit up again like a candle, from it a thread twisted and curled until it passed through each hole on the Kunai's handles.
["Focus Ku."]
Kugeki decreased the thread's, bringing the kunai closer to him. Aligning the weapons near his chest area. Again, he threw the kunai. Three hit the target this time. It had taken a while to get used to such a weird way to throw kunai. He repeated this again, picking up the kunai, bringing them back then throwing them. Until, all five landed on the tree.
The bark had been scared with stabs, cuts, and scraps.

| Feeling content, he retrieved the kunai from the bark of the tree. Somewhere near the bottom - middle area. His confidence built up enough now to throw the kunai at something that could move. Kugeki did not rely on his byakugan too much, personally training himself not to. Hence why he never activated it during this training session of his, that was nearing an end. All of the kunai he held with one grip, time to test his real skill with this Kugujutsu technique.
For the final test, he was in search of wildlife in the area. Whether avian or something that moved with four legs. The target was whatever he saw first, whatever crossed paths with him. His search came to end upon sighting a flock of birds, that were startled by his noise. Each bird flapped their small wings and took off for the sky.
Time wasn't on his side here, if they flew too high he would loose sight due to the mist. Tossing the kunai in the air, he caught each one with a single thread. Kugeki took aim, positioning the Kunai quickly near his chest. Fire! In rapid succession each kunai were thrown towards the gray feathered creatures. A few birds cried out as they were stabbed.
Kugeki counted each fallen bird... they sung their last song. "One.....two....three....four....five."
One bird, equaled one plunged kunai.

| |-Puppet technique-|
For this one he had to get a little creative. Since he had no puppets to practice on, he sought out the nearest establishment/village. The day was still young, so the fishermen village had been active as ever. These were ordinary men and women, no one here were shinobi. Not to mention, poor. Kugeki approached them. They didn't see a headband, so maybe this was why they did not disperse like cockroaches when he greeted them.
"Hello!" His friendly smile spoke a thousand words, and his wave assured he had no intent to harm anyone. A few of the men nodded, most of them spoke back. "Hello, greetings, how are you stranger?" Just a few things he heard from the people who met him at the entrance. Surprisingly they allowed him in with open arms.
He found someone, a test dummy of sorts. "My name is Kugeki! I need to train one of my techniques, but I have yet to buy something nessacary to complete it. The next best thing is a body! I can pay 100 RYO."
"200!" The female argued. "Fine." Kugeki replied.
He brought the girl to a field near the village, connecting the threads to the an area of her body. "This wont hurt at all." Kugeki attempted 'Walking her,' slow and subtle steps, she wobbled but he managed to keep her balance.
"H-hey! Don't make me fall!"

| "I'm serious! Don't make me fall! This dress is new!" The girl was barefooted, and not even much older than himself. Her "new," dress was dirty and sewn together artificially. He could tell by the discolorations and patches here and there. "You have my word,"
Kugeki saw himself in her somehow. How? If it weren't for his skills he probably would be as poor as her. He could picture himself in such a living situation. For now, he had her cooperation, so moving her was possible.
There was a thread connected to her head, torso, both arms, and both legs. One full hand and a finger from the other. Kugeki practiced arm movements, leg movements with walks, and even mimicked a taijutsu style - though clunky to say the least.

| An hour passed, and there they were making progress! He could walk her, run her, jump her, and almost had her taijutsu mimicking down to perfection. She stayed quiet, she assumed Kugeki needed the silence. He needed to focus, the less she talked the more progress they made.
"W-woah!" Kugeki performed a kick with his live puppet. Using his pinkie finger which controlled the left leg, following it up with a twist and jump. His ring finger controlled the right left, kicking in mid air. Landing her safely on the ground. He mimicked his own fighting style in a way, to some degree. Anyone could notice he wasn't the most talkative person, she picked that up even though she was his literal puppet for the time being. Even if she was in awe by what she was doing, things she couldn't dream of.
Kugeki ran her in circles, made her throw kunai even. Even though he was controlling her, he was using HER body, so he allowed for a break. Detaching the threads from each specific area.
"Ten minutes!"
"Alright...." The girl said, taking in deep and much needed breathes.

Kugeki watched as she went on and on, asking him questions about how that technique worked. Asking him to teach even. He stood whilst she sat. Answering her questions in very vague ways. ["Time for the finale."] He thought to himself. As long as someone was notably weaker than himself, he could control them without consent. He had been controlling her WITH consent the entire time.
He suppressed the threads, making them invisible to her. Each one attached to it's area. Personally this is how he preferred it: Pinkie left leg, Ring finger right leg, Middle finger torso, index head, Thumb and left index for the arms. They were all in place, so he moved his puppet - forcefully.
As if she was a wooden or metallic doll she was under his complete control. "W-WAIT!" He moved her around like a rag-doll training with her again. "I wasn't ready!"
Kugeki detached them. "Sorry about that! Here is your RYO" He pulled from his pouch a stack of money, flipping through the bills until he counted out three hundred RYO - giving to her. Then like that, he left.
Practice makes perfect. Training complete.
