Appearance: To start off with Yakumi's most defining feature: her teeth. Yakumi isn't a full-blooded Senju, with her mother coming from the Inuzuka, so her teeth are formed differently than a normal person's, with her canines being sharper and longer. Another feature of hers that people tend to remember her by is her hair. Yakumi has blond hair, something that's pretty common, but she doesn't really tend to it or care for it so it has a much messier look to it. Due to this, she tends to keep her hair tied up in messy clumps on either side of her head. Other smaller traits of her facial features would be her eyes and her skin color, as Yakumi has bright yellow eyes, most just referring to it as amber, and somewhat pale skin that has her stand out in a crowd.

Body-wise, Yakumi is still developing so nothing is really set in stone for that area. Her outfits tend to be pretty consistent when it comes to casual vs work. In either environment, Yakumi likes to wear a skirt of some sort along with a blouse that can be covered or straight out replaced with a vest if need be. On occasion, she'll wear thigh-high socks or leggings depending on the weather, but the core shirt and skirt combo are a given no matter what.

Personality: Overall, Yakumi is a child. The way she acts in certain situations really shows this trait of her, often choosing the easy way out or completely ditching her responsibilities and making them somebody else's problem. Often she will take the route that seems the most fun or the most rewarding over what she is required to do by others. Being told what to do is one of her biggest dislikes, hating the fact that others have a certain expectation of her that she is to upkeep even if she doesn't want to. In Yakumi's ideal world, she has the freedom to do what she wants whenever she wants with no repercussions. A very childish dream but a dream none the less.

In a social setting, most know Yakumi for here quirkiness, often full of energy and ready to go at any time but yet never wanting to do anything. She has a certain type of laziness that only applies to certain tasks. Yakumi is always respectful, even to those that she doesn't like or don't deserve it. On the exterior, she'll brace people with a smile and good intentions, but on the inside or behind the scenes it may be something completely different. Yakumi often finds herself aiding people just for the hell of it, never expecting a reward or anything of the sort. Rarely does she hold grudges against those that wrong her, believing that people deserve a second, third, or even fourth chance.
Character History: While she's in Yukigakure, that wasn't Yakumi's birthplace. That would have been Amegakure, where her father had met her mother while on a mission for his city. Previous to this incident he had called Yukigakure home, at the time being the rookie in the ANBU of the village. Being a rookie, not many had a real trust for him nor really knew what he was capable of, since prior he was pretty unknown but yet skilled. So to test the waters they had sent him on a simple retrieval, nothing that was to really post a threat to him. But that's not what happened, unfortunately. This retrieval mission ended up being a kidnapping, the object of interest being Kara Inuzuka, Yakumi's mother, and a famous genjutsu ninja. Those at Yukigakure had thought if they were able to catch her then they would be able to get her on their side, no matter what.

Something like this would normally be a declaration of war, which is why Yakumi's father couldn't be caught. While he was close to being caught, it never happened. He was.... less than adequate at his job to begin with, but Kara had gone easy on him and he was able to escape in one piece, but she stole his heart. It would then take three long months of constant fighting-- and losing-- before her father would get the guts to ask out her mother. They then had a long relationship, roughly five to six months, before he proposed as well. The entire time, Yukigakure had assumed he was KIA since they had never given him a specific date in which he was to return. Then when he did return, he returned with not only Kara but a child. This child would be named Yakumi, Ya meaning expected and kumi meaning fruit.

Growing up, Yakumi was, as her mother would put it, "enjoyable". From infancy, until she was a young child Yakumi was a troublemaker. She loved to create frustrating and tedious tasks for others so she could get enjoyment, often hanging around with those that were like her, which most of the time tended to be boys. While there was nothing wrong with this, her mother was sort of annoyed as she had to raise and teach her daughter all by herself. Not too soon after Yakumi's birth, her father had died within a year. While tough on her, Kara was determined to raise Yakumi into a fine ninja, something that her husband would have been proud of if he were alive. But Yakumi had different plans.

While she pursued the ninja occupation like both of her parents, she never really showed much interest in it, at least externally. Truthfully, Yakumi wanted to become the kage of her village and turn it into a major village so the people would get the same recognition, but in school and at home she seemed to brush off most if not everything given to her. Still, she tries to make everyone around her proud of her, even if it requires some form of effort.
