Description: There was apparently an extremely valuable piece of artwork stolen from the marketplace recently. You need to track it down and return it before the thief is able to resell it to their fence. It appears to be a large golden apple.


Gekkido walked through the town plaza, which was much like an outdoor mall, in search for the mysterious golden apple. He searched low and high and naturally could not find it simply sitting on top of a shelf or display. Realizing the item was not likely to be found in plain sight, he took to the shadows to people watch in order to find the thief who carried it. From the second floor he watched below at the passersby. He didn’t have a dojutsu, but his attention to detail was quite extraordinary. Gekkido was also well versed in watching things in slow motion as he had trained his eyes to slow down moving objects in order that he could observe more information in less amounts of time. Making split decisions about incoming objects and surrounding people is and was so key. He looked to find the shimmering object in the hands or pockets of everyone who passed by, but was out of luck for several hours. Somewhat annoyed that he was being paid so little to do such a complicated job. He jumped down from the top floor to the center of the mall and shot three bone spikes through the glass ceiling up above. He yelled in a loud voice for the thief to show himself. Everyone had stopped moving, stunned at the maneuver. So when a small man in a grey long-sleeve began sprinting for the entrance, it made Gekkido’s target stick out like a red thumb. He blitzed towards the man, grappling him inches before he reached the doors. As they fell together, the golden artifact rolled out his pants and onto the ground. Roaches flee in the presence of light.
