In enters the Hyuga [open rp]

Kyo walked along the dismal streets of Kirigakure that morning after his first night in the country. The place where he stayed, at the lake towards the north eastern side if the main island, was  his father's summer home. He would come here as a young child and would go on his own adventures. Now the house's purpose did not change though. It provided comfort for any Hyuga that was apart of the family.

Kyo desired no attention drawn to himself so he wore an ash grey joggers and white t shirt with his customary sun glasses. Upon hus feet he wore the traditional shinobi sandals which were low cut and black in color. Kyo carried no weapons because mainly he expected no combat and secondly, he was his own weapon. He walked casually along the cobblestone road; his feet making the sounds of footsteps as he went his way and his hands in his pockets. The sun was just rising, yet, the vast majority of sunlight was barely visible through the overcast clouds above. Today was a good day in Kiri.

"Yessssssss.... Good morning!" Kozachi spoke to nobody in particular as she climbed out of bed. Another day, another opportunity to shine and do her best. She dressed in her uniform and immediately fucked everything up by tripping as she went down the stairs. Ohhhh crap! She recovered just in time, cursing herself inwardly for her own damn clumsiness. She headed out into the misty morning air, the familiar smells and sounds washing over her like the tide over the beach only a few miles away. Life was good, although she still hadn't solved her own personal problems yet. There was so much that she still needed to do, and so few people to do it with.

She walked down the street, noticing a pleasant looking fellow with a white t-shirt and sunglasses on the other side of the street. Odd. Considering the clouds and the mist... maybe it was just a fashion thing. Well, at the very least, he seemed like a reputable citizen, though that was just Kozachi's naivety drowning out her worries in a flood of innocence and inexperience. The world was quite cruel, but she just hadn't experienced enough to realize it as of yet. Either way, she was making her way north now.

"Hm?" Uttered Kyo audibly; more than he would intentionally. His pearl like eyes observed someone who really, in his opinion, didn't fit in in this dismal country. Having nothing better to do as he awaited the Mizukage, he decided he would approach her.

"Good day to you, highly favored one. Could you tell me are you a shinobi in these lands?"

Kyo was taken a back by the appearance of this one. Surely she must be some sort of shop keeper's daughter of the sort. He was being judgemental maybe, but he couldn't help but notice how innocent this one looked before him.

Someone like this to him did not belong in a brutal village such as Kirigakure no sato. Depending on her interaction with Kyo, he would move and react accordingly.

She turned around gasping in surprise as the stranger spoke to her. What was more surprising, perhaps, was that he was a foreigner. No, the best part was that he was being polite. W-wow... up until this point, she had been kind of a nobody. And when people did notice her, it was because of her klutzy mistakes. Well, she was certainly flattered that this guy was being so nice to her right off the bat. Yes, Kozachi was pretty naive, but that was just part of who she was, at least for the time being. She thought the best of almost everyone; that inside every human being, there was a kernel of good.

Also, he had some sweet sunglasses. Not sure why he was wearing them in a commonly misty village, but Kozachi was just a little jealous. Her salary wasn't high enough to afford that kind of luxury.

"Um... Hi! Yes! I am!" She blurted out, not sure how to deal with his politeness. Well, maybe she needed to help him as much as she could. "Are you lost, by any chance?" Gah, of course he wasn't. She resisted the urge to smack herself. Why would he specifically ask for a shinobi if he was merely lost?

"Nah I'm not lost," said Kyo as he looked all around him casually. "Well, I hope I'm not." He continued with a smile on his face.

"So you're a shinobi of the Hidden Mist? Heard you guys were pretty tough." He continued casually. "I am Kyo little lady, from Konoha. I came here to speak with your Kage and he told me to wait. So here I am killing time. What you got planned? Wanna go for a walk with me?"

Kyo was genuine. So long as this shinobi didn't try to murder him he would bring no harm to her or the entire block of houses around them. It was something to think about. Kirigakure was an ally and he hoped this youth would also be the same. He had enjoyed himself since he was here all by himself. No real interaction with anyone of note. He did wonder though as to why someone with such a child like appearance and demeanor was a shinobi here. Kyo felt as if there was more to this one than meets the eye and that is what piqued his interest about her.

Errr... so was he actually lost, or not? Maybe he just had a really shitty sense of direction... well, whatever. If he said he wasn't lost, then he wasn't lost. Naturally, being the young soul that she was, Kozachi had no idea what kind of damage flattery could do in the long term, so of course, she fell right for it.

"Oh, uh... thanks, I guess." She wasn't that tough, really. Not compared to some of the other amazing figures in the village. Sure, she had a few neat tricks up her sleeve, but even those were just OK, nothing really spectacular. Nevertheless, this "Kyo from Konoha" seemed friendly and kind. Although, the fact that he seemed to be asking her to take a random walk with him was a little odd. Still, he was nice. Could it really hurt?

"Sure, no problem!" She perked up at the thought, and continued on with him.

... Awkward, huh? At that moment, any rational attempt at small talk had fled Kozachi's mind, leaving a confusing blank. What to say to a foreigner? It wasn't like she was the best person to get any kind of information from. Nevertheless, the fact that he was meeting with the kage must mean he was someone important... maybe a diplomat of some kind?
