The Green Jacket

What an awesome joy, a boy in a green jacket went out into the woods because of a dare from his friends. Gekkido wondered what the chances were that such a crafty young kid would just so happen to also be wearing the same colors of his surroundings and make his job so much more difficult. It was times like these that he wondered what it would be like to have a sharingan or byakugan. There simply was no such thing as hid and go seek with those treasures at your disposal. Nevertheless he went into the woods in search of said boy, knowing that his dark green shirt made him especially difficult to find. The day was bright, around lunch time in Kirigakure. The perfect time for a kid to sneak away without being noticed. Gekkido was not roused to any measure of anger, and yet would strike like tiger if he found the boy. It wasn’t the content of the missions but the context. Why on Earth were these young boys so easily escaping the site of the teachers in their class? It was the incompetence of the adults that angered him more than the frivolousness of the children. Still yet, he continued forward and eventually spotted the boy near a lake in the woods. Apparently he’d gone through all of this in order to go fishing. Gekkido approached but to his surprise noticed the boy didn’t run. He came within five meters and called out to him that it was time for them to leave back to class. Gekkido’s voice carried no annoyance in it, nothing to set the boy off or make him feel sunsafe. He remembered being a boy who liked to often retreat to the waters and therefore sympathized somewhat with the kid. Instead of forcing him, he gave the boy the option to stay or come back with him. The boy smiled and requested ten more minutes before they left. Gekkido sat down with a chuckle and obliged. About an hour later ,the two would return to the academy with a bucket full of fish impaled with small bone shards. Surprised?
