Blue Wall
The old man and he were parallel to each other as they painted the house. The idiots who'd come by and made the images they'd made were nothing more than a result of a lack of discipline by the academy. He could tell discipline was lacking just by what he'd seen on the training grounds. Garbage and trash everywhere as though no sense or courtesy was being required from young people. Gekkido kept a light spirit about him though, he knew the older man needed emotional encouragement more than he needed help painting. The appreciation of company was another thing he particularly liked about the elderly. They never took for granted a single moment spent with another human being. Many villages had become cold in their method of dealing with the elderly. It was as if they were just there to take up space or be in the way of young people. Gekkido was come over with feelings of anger and spite at the thought of this but he held himself back. As a leader he had to be emotionally centered, and if he could not do so in times of peace, he would never make it during times of difficulty. The house was to be painted a darker shade of blue than it originally had been, and this was primarily due to the need to overcome the imposed colors of the graffiti. Gekkido used his long body to help make the process go faster, as well as reach places that it would require the old man gymnastics in order to do normally. They only had one side of the house to paint, but it wa a large side. It took them roughly four hours but they soon had completed not only that side of the house, but also cleaning up the yard below. Apparently the young men had also left some kunai gas tags in the yard so that when stepped on, a terrible smell was released from the tags that was difficult to bare. Gekkido kept his cool as he neutralized all the tags with bone spikes and quickly removed them from the yard. Before leaving, he promised the man that should this ever happen again he would personally hunt down the young people responsible and bring them to justice. He left the normal intensity out of his voice, but a sterness about it sent the message across.
