Description: Using his ninjutsu skills, Hideo can turn his body and clothing into many sheets of paper. He can control and reshape even parts of his body with sheets at will, making such forms as weapons for attack, butterflies for spying, paper airplanes for quick transport, or simply covering his enemy in sheets of paper, restricting and asphyxiating them. He is also capable of hovering while in his paper form. With this technique, Hideo can cover large areas in short periods of time. This paper is seemingly expendable, including parts of his body converted to paper; and how much paper he can expend depends on his chakra reserve. He can also hide explosive tags amongst his papers to add a deadly surprise to his attacks. In this form, however, he is weak to oil-based techniques, which causes the paper to stick. He is however not weak against water to the same extent. This is shown as Hideo can use water to his advantage, soaking his paper body in water so that flames and heat would not burn him. It is maintained with an upkeep of 20 chakra per post, to create more paper it costs 30 chakra per 100 sheets of paper.

Description: By creating a large flower bud made of paper the user activates this technique which causes all the paper to explode outwards as though it was made of paper bombs. Using this technique the user is capable of hiding inside the closed flower until it opens and explodes outwards since the explosion goes away from the user and leaves them unharmed. The user can also exit via the paper if they so desired due to being able to connect to the paper and reform on the other side. It can be detonated remotely and a maximum of three flowers can be on the field at any time.

Description: The user creates a paper crane out of their paper, often being around the size of a large bird such as an eagle. The crane then will chase the target until getting within five metres of them - it can pass through most obstructions but breaking apart into smaller bits of paper and reforming which allows it to move through dense forest. Once within the range the bird will explode from behind, propelling a flock of smaller cranes to move at double the user's speed and proceed to explode all around the target. The crane travels at the same speed as the user.
