Appearance: He has an odd hair. It's all natural, mind you, but it's odd. His genes are all out of whack from the start, as he *is* a Buki that's supposed to be in Iwa. So he should be a blonde haired, handsome guy. Thereby, he's a green and red-haired guy that's also somewhat handsome and young. Him only being 20 has shown, as he's shown a very smooth skin that would be young. He doesn't have the broad shoulders that a lot of ninja have.

He often has a concerned look on his face, and it shows. This concern mainly comes from a lot of the genin trying to become bloody legends. This concerned look is a constant on his face. The only other look he has is a look of sarcasm. It's when he slowly rolls his eyes and has his lips pursed. That's the look on his face when he's trying to make you feel bad.

His clothing is often odd. It's often some variation of stripes and strong colors mixed with weaker colors. He has every piece of clothing he wears custom made so that it fits him perfectly and has just the right colors.

Something often not talked about is the fact that his limbs aren't all that long for swordsmen, except for the fact that his legs are somewhat long. This has allowed him excelling speed, which has made him effectively the perfect swordsman. His arms aren't long enough to get cut off at the elbow, but not short enough to make a sword less effective.

He doesn't have a very muscled body. That's just a fact of the matter. He never trains his body to become bulky, as he refuses to make his body that much larger. It'd just give his opponents more to hit.

Personality: He's a rather fierce combatant when he gets into it, but has no particular bloodlust. It's somewhat odd for a ninja, of such a rank, to lack bloodlust in such the capacity. He has trouble getting into bouts, all things considered. It's thought to be because he's a complete pacifist, which isn't right entirely. He has killed before, and likely will kill again. That's a fact. He'll likely kill people again if he must. If it's an absolute requirement for the mission, he's not afraid of plunging a blade into the chest of a man or woman, depending on what they've done or what they plan on doing.

He's also a rather nice guy; albeit not naive. He knows what he has, and what sort of powers he holds, it's just that he often refuses to flaunt them. This is why, for the most part, his talent with the blade has gone unnoticed. He often only practices it within his home. The only reason that he'd have been noticed at all, is if it was in a documented fashion like the chunnin exams. Otherwise, he's dancing around in the comfort of his own home.

Now, as stated before, he's not a fierce combatant usually. This, however, does not omit him from fighting without getting into it. Although, before he gets into, he mostly fights defensively. He mostly takes away his opponents weapons, and sort of fights with an evasive mode of movement. He doesn't like killing, so he just slightly maims people. Maims them so they don't want to fight him anymore. Make sure that they just don't bother fighting again, and maybe just scare them into submission via masterful bladework. It's just how he'd like it to be.


He's also got an odd sense of pride that refuses to allow him to give up.

Character History: He was a rather simple boy, with simple likes and wants. That's just who he was. Until 10, where he entered the academy and accidently showed promise during his Genin exams. That's just how it sort of was. He showed promise and everyone looks at him for awhile. The hype around him died down after a while, which gave him some much needed comfort. This much needed comfort is what allowed him to train in his own home, becoming much stronger than most ninja ever could be.

He stayed out of fights unlike a lot of ninja in the mist, preferring books and food and training over actual fighting. Even when he'd fight, he'd only sort of half ass the fights and play defensive, because he didn't want the attention. For the most part, in his early years and genin years, was thought to be a genin who specialized in defensive taijutsu and bukijutsu. Something he has never quite broadcast is the fact that he can throw weapons just as well as he can swing them, which in case you're wondering, is historically amazing.

It's only in the chunnin exam where people really got a taste of his immense skill and pressure in battle. It might not be something that comes out often, but it did when he had to fight a man in a sword fight to win the thing.

Once the fight started, he played light on his feet, not wanting to hurt the other fighter. This changed over the course of the rather long fight, due to the aggression of the other fighter. This is the only thing that kept the other boy going, because he didn't want to stab through the openings that the boy had obviously left open for him to stab and slash.

It was only after ten minutes that Chiruto got angry and started attacking back. It was when he started attacking back that people realized the severe mismatch that had happened, and that the genin exam wasn't just a fluke that just happened. He is an immensely skilled weapons master. One of the best in the history of the world. Not that the history is long, but it's likely that few will ever meet his skill in the art of the sword.

This was, of course, what had everyone looking at him again. Thereby, he played dumb for the longest while, but smart people would realize that every movement he had made during that battle, was thought out and done exactly when needed because of the knowledge and skill of the user. That's what it was, and it's the reason why some think that he might become one of the new seven swordsmen. He often disagrees, because it stresses him out to think about all the responsibility he thinks that comes with it.

He's become a jounin not long ago due to his continued service to his village, and the fact that he has made no efforts to be cutthroat to anyone. He's also managed to deflect all attempts on his head.
