Maintaining a vegetable garden while the farmer was away... such a task was easy and rather peaceful. After all, it required no fighting or hardship. Nothing beyond some menial chores and manual labor. For former royalty, it was a bit new to the young ginger, but on the plus side, she loved the outdoors. This beat being cooped up in a castle-like palace any day.

Of course, upon arrival, Yin began to have second thoughts. A double take followed by a suspicious squint made the confusion visible on the teen girl's face. The paper said that this was a vegetable garden... but these were blueberries!

Ever so gradually, she was losing faith in humanity. Could someone not tell a berry, a fruit, from a vegetable-- and a farmer of all people!
Yep, the next generation was screwed.

But that did not mean she could shirk off her newfound responsibilities. Grabbing the water hose and a basket, Yin charged right to work. Holding her thumb over the end of the hose, she allowed the water to spray over the crop, while directing the water towards the sunlight in just the right position in order to see a rainbow.

Once the deed had been done, she picked up a basket and tossed it towards the blonde Genin who had gone on the mission with her. "Time to harvest these 'vegetables', buddy. I'll keep ya cool if you want~" she said coolly, with a playful grin as she aimed the stream of water from the hose towards him.

He caught the "veggies" in their basket before placing them to be stored, only to take a small shot of water in the process from the nearly half-naked ginger. Taking it without retaliation, he smiled and laughed it off. "Pfft, I hate you so much." The blonde sarcastically replied, as it was a nice day to get wet. Whoever she was, he might as well get even with her, though perhaps not via the painful end of his sword. Placing his basket down, he looked at the piles and nodded his head, proudly finished with the work before turning back to Wendy,'s. "Jobs finished here, nice working with ya, girlie." He told her with approval before placing his hands in his pockets. Peasant work was productive and enjoyable, though it only distracted him from his true goal, and so he will just collect the Ryo and get out of here.

So he walked out from the harvest and found the ryo waiting for him and the girl at the end of it, likely just due to him finishing the job and the farmer leaving it there for the good work. He took it gladly, tossed the ginger her fair share and bailed out, making his way home.
