People who ran food places often were in need of hired help, Yin could only note. First it was delivering ramen, and this time it was taste testing. Wine testing would be out of the question, seeing as she was still quite young. Pizza delivery seemed a step up from anything else, but unfortunately that job never was open to shinobi. Thus, she was stuck with assisting a man known as Mister Egg. Quite a fitting name for a chef, she would have to admit, but hopefully he did not cook only eggs; cheap protein that could be cooked many ways.
Fortunately, that was not the case. Unfortunately, what he did cook was barely a level up from that. Eggs, bacon, and spam bowl-- a breakfast dish ready to be served all day.
Spam was an interesting sort of canned meat, mostly made of pork, sugar, salt, potato starch, and sodium nitrite. Though she knew what it was, it was something that the ginger had never tasted before. Back home, fellows felt the food was beneath their eating.
Free food and money though, she had no complaints. Taking a bite of the scramble bowl that would make the Monty Python crew proud, had they existed, Yin chewed thoroughly and thought about the taste and texture. "It tastes kinda cheap. The bacon is too crispy, the eggs are too runny.... the spam is just right though~" she stated evenly and innocently. She truly did not care too much for the meal. It was neither good nor bad, but she tried to be as detailed as her simple and imaginative mind would allow. Not only that, but she did not know how spam was supposed to taste. Luckily, Mister Egg nodded thoughtfully and dismissed her after paying her for her help. One more menial chore down~
