Give The Seven [solo,nk] Empty
PostSubject: Give The Seven [solo,nk]   Give The Seven [solo,nk] EmptyMon Jul 16, 2018 1:09 pm

Kozura had received little blips of messages from the bijuu before, but they were never really clear. She felt that there was a certain bottleneck that she had to move beyond first in order to get to a point where she could talk to it first, but she supposed she needed more power for that. Not that it'd be easy. The damn monkey sure was making her work for it. It wasn't tiring her out too much, though, and these tugs of war were starting to become mildly enjoyable. They reminded her of the actual fight that they had had before, just on a different scale.
The struggle of combat was something she'd been taught to enjoy, under certain situations. There were certain ways to enjoy different kinds as well, kind of like food. Using one's full force against a weaker opponent was not the way to do things, for instance. There was a notion among the clan, an idiom that translated roughly to "not using my own power yet", or something like that. Kozura's own power was her physical prowess and now her ability in ninjutsu. However, this monkey's lava powers were "not her own power", so using them against a weaker opponent was alright with her.

She tried reaching out again, and managed to seize hold of another significant little bit of power. She felt like she was in the middle of peeling an onion (onions have layers, remember) and that she was about halfway through the first layer. Wait, there was more beyond? Of course there was. This was no mere human power that she was trying to assimilate. It was, in fact, the power of an entity that could destroy castles and cities. It had even destroyed the kage tower at long range, a feat that Kozura could only hope to replicate with her strongest moves, though for her, that was to change quite soon.
She'd been working on forcibly using this new lava element that she'd gotten her hands on, and it was working out quite well. Her own body and her physical attacks could now be transmuted, to some extent, and the effects were on par with the more destructive Western Nomad techniques that she'd brought with her from the desert. These worked in a different way, however, since lava kinda burned? She seemed to be immune to the effects of the lava she produced, which was pretty good, all things considered.

Give The Seven [solo,nk] Empty

Or maybe it was just the consideration of the beast. She'd noticed the odd markings on both of them, and wondered if they had, after all, been under the control of somebody else. It wasn't completely out of the question. Though she didn't know much of fuuinjutsu, she knew full well from experience that such curses could be used to bring other people under the control of a discerning and powerful chakra user. If she worked hard enough, she knew that she too could gain control over such markings using the Inhaling Maw technique alone, though she was a little wary of them. Witchcraft was a strange thing, and though it was not forbidden among her tribe, it wasn't exactly encouraged either. Here, those who applied these markings were simple fuuinjutsu users, but who knew what kind of advanced applications were possible? Anyways, Kozura didn't have time to think about it. She was in one of the more remote areas of the desert, which, though but a short distance from Sunagakure, was almost lifeless (at least above ground) and was a good spot for testing out some of her new abilities. She tried to change the earth into lava earlier, but hadn't received much results.

Give The Seven [solo,nk] Empty

Either way, it appeared that she would have to rely on the damn monkey for power once again. After all, she needed practice. If she couldn't get practice from making lava from the natural earth (a task that didn't seem too difficult, come to think of it) then she would most certainly have to get it from existing lava. But this was Sunagakure. Where would she find lava if she didn't produce it herself? She squeezed down on the power that she had taken from the four tailed beast, and found it pliant. The beast grumbled as it sent a surge of power rushing through her small body.
She breathed out and expelled a red aura of chakra that turned the sand to lava upon contact. It was only a small bit, but it was good enough while it lasted for her to practice with. It bubbled, a dark pool of molten minerals. Darker than the stuff the beast had used against her, huh? That meant that it was cooler. Was the beast insulting her? She felt a smug chuckle across the static that separated them. Damn beast. It'd pay for underestimating her ability in time. But for now, she needed to take this chance.

Give The Seven [solo,nk] Empty

She lifted her hand and focused, her chakra flaring a bit as she did so. This couldn't be that hard, even if the bijuu was actively trying to fuck her over. She'd seen that fellow with the sand move it around effortlessly, or at least that's how it seemed from the outside. She wondered how hard it had been for him to train it. Did he have to go through tribulations, or was it easy as hell for him? She supposed that it depended on the power of his bijuu, and how friendly or unfriendly it was, though at this point, this was all pointless conjecture.
The lava began to shift slightly as she performed more chakra control procedures, focusing it into a tight spiral. As it cool, she made it travel up and into a neat spiral as it hardened into igneous rock, dark and brittle. Not too shabby. She'd leave this here for the sand to wear away it, an offering of her power to the desert. Embrace the desert, and it became a valuable ally rather than a force of nature to be feared and hidden away from. And now, even powers outside of the desert were coming under her grasp.
