Growing a tail [Training] [Closed]

Moeru was in a dilemma. She had a certain amount of power, but she didn't know a means to control it. It was her first time having access to some strength, after all, so it was understandably hard for her to keep it tamed. The Kyuubi had granted her a third of its power, and now a few things in her life have changed.

For starters, whenever she felt an emotion other than calm, her chakra would flare. This meant that she couldn't get excited, startled or angry for any reason. Considering who Moeru was, that was a completely tough thing not to do. Every time she stepped outside, she felt fear for meeting someone and having them hate her. If someone suddenly came up from behind her and talked to her, she would get startled, and they would get blasted back by her power. It was inevitable.

However, she did not want to nearly kill people every time she was afraid. So, she needed to train.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with that...

Moeru once again found herself in her room, where she was when she first met Kyuubi. She didn't know why, but there was always something about this place that made her calmed. Maybe it was because it was the only place she knew she was safe? Her own castle where no one else could visit unless she invited them.

But who would she ever invite...?

One thing she really did not like was how uncontrollable her powers were. Her chakra wasn't her own, so they did not flow to her command. However, Moeru believed that a few training sessions would allow her to control it. Thus, she decided to spend the rest of her day in her house, trying to figure things out.

She began by sitting on her bed cross-legged like she did before. She wanted to clear her mind of all things distracting, so she began humming to herself and meditating into her own environment. Then, she focused....

Her chakra came out in no time. Unlike last time, where it took a few moments to gather up enough, this one released from her body like a gentle stream. She could feel the warmth around her as she controlled it, making it cover her entire body with its blue luminescence.

She couldn't believe that this was her power. There was little difference in the amount of strength she radiated when summoning it, but it was still large enough for Moeru to feel. If only she could manage to control it more... Would she be as strong as Kazue-sensei then? Would she even be able to stay on par with Kazue-sensei?

She could only hope.

For now, she merely focused on raising her strength a little. Deep inside of her, she could feel the Kyuubi's power. It was hard not to miss it, actually. It radiated greater strength and a stronger aura than Moeru's. The only problem was, it was too strong to control. However, she wouldn't allow Kyuubi's overwhelming aura to best her!

Kyuubi wasn't here right now, or at least she couldn't see him, so she had nothing to fear. All she had to do was reach for the beast's power.

Reach for it... Reach for it... Reach for it...

It worked! She got it! Now all she had to do was pull it out. The last time she tried this, she did so unknowingly, and the beast's chakra refused to obey her. However, since Kyuubi now granted her a little of his strength, she could at least call upon the power and hope it listened to her.

She tried her best this time.

She tugged the power further and further out of her body until she could feel its warmth cover her. The blue aura that her chakra radiated slowly turned red as she continued. The more she tried to call on the Kyuubi's chakra, the more she felt herself get stronger.

However, the chakra around her suddenly became very hot too. She didn't know why, but the warmth she felt before was starting to blister, and her body was beginning to sweat. The harder she tried to call on more of the Kyuubi's power, the tougher it got for her.

Was the beast's chakra refusing her? No... That couldn't be happening... Not after Kyuubi said he'd give her control.

Maybe she just wasn't used to it yet? That's right... She just wasn't used to it.

She didn't let the heat get to her, and she continued. However, the more power she demanded, the worse it got for her.

Eventually, the Kyuubi's chakra enveloped her entire body, and her entire body began melting away...
