Train Until You Vanish Empty
PostSubject: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptyTue Nov 28, 2017 3:46 pm

Training for some was a badge of great honor, but for Voltaire training was a burden, not on one's time in the way that it was for most people who wanted to be the best at any particular thing, but a burden on his soul while he contemplates what it meant to not automatically be the best at something that he was interested in being the very best at. This is why Voltaire made a point of doing all of his training in private, so that to others it would be as if he was pulling new Jutsu, chakra element releases, weapons, and skills as if out of thin air. This level of unpredictability is what was going to make him good enough to be the Kazekage.

Lately he had felt that his lack of elements was preventing him from learning the techniques that already existed. He was lucky enough to be born into this world with steel release,
but so few users of that elemental chakra release have existed in the past that he was going to have to create his own jutsu for that. So in the mean time, it was time to train! So here was, nothing but desert in any direction for over a mile. The Sun was starting to set, meaning that the heat was finally starting to wane. Voltaire had finally healed up entirely from his last bout of hard core training, and now he was ready to out do himself all over again. He was dressed all up in his beautiful silver garbs and the spider puppet perched on his left shoulder.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptyTue Nov 28, 2017 9:28 pm

Voltaire wondered what kind of things he would have had to do to heal that kid who pussied out after a single stabbing had they not been at a hospital and had that sweet heart Hiro not been left to watch over him, what would he have done on the battle field in a real war if a fellow ninja was stabbed by a good looking guy with a toy spider? Voltaire had already started to look into Medical Ninjutsu, not really for its uses in healing his countrymen, but for the implications of making super human ninja to serve him as Kazekage.

Voltaire saw something moving around in the sand, something struggling, a lizard failing to burrow back into the ground where it could hide from predators. Voltaire crouched down and dug his gloved hands into the hot sand, pulling out a cupped hand of sand with a wiggling reptile hiding inside. Even with the gloves his skin was burning up from the heat, so he brushed away everything but the lizard. It was missing a majority of the claws on both of its front legs. Voltaire took pity on it, deciding to test out the healing Jutsu instead of the Genjutsu on his second living test subject as a Genin. He started to pour his Chakra into the animal's body.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptyWed Nov 29, 2017 3:23 pm

Voltaire felt that his energy was inside of the lizard, spreading throughout the bones and internal organs. The animal started to violently struggle, leading Voltaire to have to clasp his hands together. It wiggled away and ran down his arm into his cloak, and Voltaire had to quickly rip off his cloak to grab it again, yanking it by its tail, and likely causing it more harm than it was in when he first started trying to heal it. Premum no noncare means to make sure hurting them is just not the first thing that you do, right? He decided that he had overwhelmed the creature pouring in that much Chakra so quickly. He then decided that it would be best to make sure that he had not hurt it so badly that it was going to die if he did not succeed in fixing its little reptile hands. He used diagnosis and got all of the results back very quickly. Its skin was a little bit burnt from not being able to take refuge in the lower layers of the sand, the claws had been ripped off by something sharp like the beak of a bird, and the tail was fine.

Voltaire placed his palms together with the lizard in between his gloved hands, and now it was considerably calmer than his first attempt. He started to fill the space between his hands with chakra. It was not being forced into the body of the lizard, but it was creeping into the body of the little animal. This was a more subtle way for the Chakra to influence the cells without terrifying the animal.
It started to seep in and Voltaire could really see it, it was in his hands and under a layer of rough skin but he could somehow see and feel what was going on in the animal through his Chakra.

Voltaire, now having access to the internal body structure of the small lizard, started to wait for the chakra to do what it had to do. He lifted up his index finger to peek in since the lizard had now entirely stopped moving. It was not dead, just very calm. It was relaxed in Voltaire's hand. The anatomy made little to no sense to Voltaire who had only studied humans and arachnids, but it was not some tiny internal organ that he was trying to fix, at least he did not think that it was, he had no idea and neither do I. How the lizard naturally repaired things like missing body parts was a mystery to Voltaire, but he knew that it was something that could happen and if it could happen then medical ninjutsu could almost definitely speed it up.

Voltaire felt his chakra going into every cell of the beast, speeding up the healing process that the lizard naturally already had. The beast stood up high but it did not do anything about what was happening, like it was frozen in place, wanting to run away but too much in shock from the sensation creeping throughout the lizard's body. The pointed finger tips of the animal started to slowly crawl out of the little brown stubs that it had prior. At first he wasn't sure what was happening, the changes being so extremely minuscule that the shadow of his hand entirely hid it, and to his great shock when he moved his other hand entirely to reveal the animal it did not take off. By not it was just laying down in his hand, spreading its front legs out in front of it and allowing the healing to take place in front of it. When the fingers were fully recovered Voltaire sat down the lizard and allowed it to scurry off.

Voltaire was interested in the elemental techniques, in fact he always had been since he was learning about the element that he was born with. And now he was going to work until he dropped to get each and every one of the five nature release elements, and possibly a few of the lesser known advanced elements! The most important for him was Doton, so as logic dictates would make sense, he sat down on the sand. He placed his hands flat out on either side of him, creating a well dressed symmetry as he pushed his chakra into the earth. The sand was starting to move and he knew that it was starting to work; he just had no idea yet what was working. He sat for about five minutes, patience forged by hours of puppet practice, though he was starting to wonder if anything was really happening. He had so much soil around him, even if it was really arid, this should definitely have been the best by far location for this type of training exercise. He knew that the sand was heating up, but that probably meant next to nothing.

Voltaire had his Chakra moving around in the sand and then it started to lift in a perfect circle around him, never rising up more than a half inch or so, and falling in a circle direction, the sand displaying the motion of his own natural energy as it mixed with the natural energy of mother earth itself. Then, he pulled all of that chakra back into himself. He then poured more of the chakra into the ground, making it move like a circle back into his chakra system, filling himself with the Earth itself in some sense, so far that it felt like it was going to turn from blue to brown if he kept pushing, which he did for quite some time. By the time that he had finished it was as if he and the Earth were seamlessly combined.

The next element used would be both the most useful as well as the hardest, harder for him even than the most complex of the advanced elemental releases. Voltaire was going to take the time to completely master Suiton. Voltaire walked for some time, around an hour and a half, searching and failing to find some small body of water. He found nothing as he searched, just dips in the sandy expansion that contained dust and hot air. He came across cacti, and decided that this was going to be a good enough place for him to start searching for water to practice getting his chakra into it and getting the water into his chakra. He tried to punch through it, but just as he was about to make contact he felt the spines start to poke through the thick material of his gloves. He tried to take a kick at it but then the spines had little issue with getting through those thick boots. He had no weapons long enough to deal with it and the spider puppet would not be anything close to the proper tool for busting through the thick outer layer of the planet.

In what he knew was an act of tragic desperation, Voltaire started trying with all of his might to pull some of the surrounding moisture from the air around him. He stood up straight and clasped his palms together tight, his knuckles forced so hard together that it was starting to cause him discomfort and pain through the thick material of the gloves. He worried that he was warping the gloves with the force that he was applying against them, or perhaps he was ironing them out and this would be a good thing for them, but either way he was going to keep it up because he could fix any problems that he caused during training, because training, as he was constantly reminding himself, was always worth any damage done to clothing that could be repaired. You can repair or even replace gloves, but you cannot make up for a lack of training with mere needle and thread. The air was getting colder, and all that he could do was hold this position and hope to the Gods he had spent his life thanking for his immense privilege and wealth that something clicked before he froze to death.
What he did not notice was that his body was now having an easier time holding onto the water that was already inside of him.

As if by magic, the sweat that he had let out during the last few hours of training was being pulled back into his body, making him feel healthier to continue with his Ninjutsu training as well as providing his body with more water for him to use as he started to run out of outside sources to look for liquids in. Without him realizing it as he steadied himself mentally and physically, trying harder and harder to use the water around him with his Chakra, he found that he was astonishingly aware of his blood, saliva, stomach fluids, bile, spinal fluids, mucus, eyes, urine, sweat, and other things that he would not be able to identify. He pushed his Chakra into those areas, creating more of those fluids, and creating pure water as it continued. He felt like his Chakra was weakening, getting heavier, sloshing around, and when he left that position and opened his mouth up a cup full of water fell from his lips. He did not know for sure if he was ready to learn any Suiton techniques or not,
but he was sure now that the element was something he was physically capable of using.

In spite of the cold and in spite of all of the fluids that he had drawn into his own body, Voltaire had started to over heat, so he decided to start taking off his fancy clothes and get down to just his training garb. He first took off the cloak, and he made a point of laying it out flat on the ground, vspreading out the sleeves and opening up the cloak. He then slipped off his gloves and then kicked off his boots. He kneeled down and slipped his gloves into his boots, then folded up the cloak with all of them inside of it to prevent them from getting sandy. Now that he had no bulky clothes on, just a long sleeve, black shirt; white, denim short-shorts held up by a glimmering, silver belt; and black leggings, he was now more exposed to the elements. He felt the wind on his body, and wondered if he could continue the elemental chakra nature training. He closed his eyes and spread out his arms, puffing out his chest and allowing the wind to that stirred the stands to stir up his spirits.

Voltaire started to sway in the wind, feeling its effects on him physically. The defense against the wind by the enormous cloak was always a large part of his keeping up his guard against people to prevent himself from being perceived as just a normal person. His facade was not as successful as he thought he was, especially with that Uchiha imbecile trying to cut through it with that wretched tongue of his, but it could not be dropped. It made him feel safe, but right now he was one with the wind itself, intimately connected to it, understanding what it was in a fluid and euphoric way.
He moved his arms and torso in whatever direction that the wind demanded, allowing himself enthusiastically to be taken with the force of it. He went on like this for about five minutes, just going vaguely in the direction of the wind, but after some time actual form was starting to appear.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptySat Dec 02, 2017 6:19 am

Voltaire felt an unfamiliar feeling coming into him, a smile from a non-violent moment. It was innocent, child-like even, as he was overtaken by the rush of the elements. Though his Taijutsu training had taught him very little about real physical form he found himself in perfect positions as he flowed with the air itself, feeling everything from the pressures of the changing temperatures to the changes in altitude, slight as they were,
from the uneven surface of the sandy expanse. His legs had started straight and close up but were now spread out, squared properly even, his knees bending to match the motions of his torso and his hips. His wrists as well as his shoulders were moving freely but his elbows were staying at nearly perfect ninety degree right angles. His wrists swiveled with the slight changes of the winds, his palms staying perfectly straight and flat as if targetted on some invisible enemy. Throws, sweeps, kicks, strikes, elbows, palm thrusts, all in slow motion in perfect lock step with a wind so light that the average person would likely not have even noticed had they not zeroed in on it. Even though to an onlooker he was just
a teenage boy dancing bare foot in the desert at night, he felt transcendent.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptySat Dec 02, 2017 6:41 am

The wind picked up and Voltaire thought that this would be enough to break him of his current trance, but to his delightful shock he had no issues keeping up with the shifts in strength and direction. His slender body was pushed and steered with the fronts and gusts. A strong blast of air came up to the front of him and he jumped backwards,
accidentally doing his first ever back flip, landing on his petite, pale hands. His fingers sunk into the sand a little and he caught the wind on his legs like a sail, rotating his hips as the burst of air kept coming. The malleable earth allowed this to be done so much more easily than had it been done on a regular floor or on the ground in nearly any other part of the ninja world. He used the weight of his lower body and the force of the kick to put himself back on his feet. As he landed he felt the wind come in from the West so he leaned to the East, letting his left foot slide down as a way to both move with the wind and to absorb some of the impact of the landing.

As his body moved and warmed up, getting more flexible in that moment than it had been for all of his Taijutsu training, he felt his Chakra getting whipped up by the winds' movements as well. It was becoming more concentrated based upon the part of his body that was moving the most with the wind, the weight spiritual energy moving him more quickly as well as with more force.

Voltaire, for all of his cruelty and coldness both before this moment and continuing intensity to come until he was forcibly changed or removed from the world of the living, had found a moment of true peace. It was a peace free of pride for himself, for his nation, for his skills, or for his smarts, though he would later tell himself that this feeling was so beautiful because in so well represented the Land of Wind and how he would one day be that shadow of those very breezes. It was the most innocent that he had been since he was a young child. His chakra was so in tune with what he was doing that he was not just copying the wind, but it was slightly altering its own path when he was somewhat off in tracking its motions just as it intensified when he got the timing just right.

His chakra was light but powerful in a primal way, swaying and striking with the motion of his body as well as with the motion of the air around him. This was more fluid than suiton, more powerful than doton, and more suiting to his secret wishes and desires than either of them ever could be. The wind and Voltaire were now so in sync that as he was moving his limbs the sand over a foot away was disturbed by it, flying up into the air a little.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptyTue Dec 12, 2017 9:12 am

Voltaire was more and more filling the friction in his Chakra, how it moved up against his insides and itself as it flowed through out its many pathways in his body, which even his deep medical insight failed to fully inform him on. He decided, now loosened up and in a great mood, that it was time to become all forms of motion, including the highest form of it, electricity. He knew that it already existed within his body so he did not know just how hard it would have to be for him to find some way to manage it, to manipulate it, and to completely lord over it. He began running around barefoot, waving his arms about like a mad man, trying to create as much friction as he could before sitting back down on the cooling sand and clasping his hands together, closing his eyes tightly and focusing on what he hoped would be there. He slowly opened one of his eyes to realize that nothing was happening, and then broke the stance to go back to running around like a mad man.

PostSubject: Re: Train Until You Vanish   Train Until You Vanish EmptyTue Dec 12, 2017 9:42 am

Voltaire lept backwards, landing on his back instead of doing the back flip that he had planned in hopes of upping the friction as well as be temporarily closer to the sky from which electricity occasionally struck down, but alas this was a failure. His Chakra reacted to every motion he made, as well as the impact when he met with the ground,
sparks brewing in his chakra network unbeknownst to him. He jumped back up to the air,
leaping higher than before and moving more quickly than he had before by a very small margin while the electricity started to connect with his chakra, which was already connected to his musculature. In hopes of breeding any more friction, he decided that he was going to have to move significantly faster than he had been, and more than he was normally capable of if he was entirely honest with himself, as internally he often was to a degree his peers would not expect of him. He kneeled down and formed a hand sign, pouring his chakra rapidly into his muscles for just a moment before extending his legs and being sent through the chilled, dark, desert air towards another point on the ever moving surface of the sand.

Voltaire landed in the same stance that he had launched himself from the ground in, and having built up all of that friction he was absolutely sure that he was going to keep going. He continued to run as he landed though, not really ready to try again to draw upon that chakra nature. He used his running start to put himself into a cart wheel, managing to get about four rotations in before he dropped to the ground, but as soon as he felt the impact he bounced back up to run around more. He slowed down, but not due to a lack of energy. He was dragging his feet around as he went, trying to make as much static as was humanly possible even on the sandy surface.

Voltaire tripped over again, but he still refused to stay down in spite of how horribly tired the hours of training were leaving him. He landed into his trip, rolling around and spinning even before he hit the ground. He rolled around, doing very little more than just rendering his shoulder sore, potentially crooked if he went on for too much longer.
When he stood up his skin was a little raw, but it was nicely exfoliated as well so he was going to accept this as one more cost of doing business here. He brushed himself off and started digging into the sand. Either he was going to find some ground lightening or he was going to leave his failure of a corpse in this hole.

He kept on digging, wishing that he had not thrown off his gloves as he found hotter and hotter sand below the top layer until he hit something chillier. He kept on scraping at that sand, throwing the sand over to make two equal sized mounds on either side of him, moving more and more quickly to fight back against the pit that was forming as sand kept falling back down into the center of the hole. This was proving to be far more difficult than taking Futon under his belt.

As Voltaire was swinging his bare hands into the shifting sand his fingers slammed into something hard and metal. He pulled his hand back, waving it a bit and shifting his feet nervously as the sand poured around him from all directions. Instead of just digging downwards more, as he would likely have suffocated with this strategy, he started to dig in the direction of the hard thing that he had come into contact with. found a bar of some sort with a rubber grip at the end. He pulled it out with all of his might, bringing with it more sand to fall onto him, but he was still in no real danger and found that it was a bicycle. There used to be some writing on it but between the sand's ability to erode things and the sun's ability to bleach things nothing could be made out.

Voltaire pulled the bike out of the sand and started to push on the pedal,
trying his best to knock all of the sand out of the gears and the chain, and not necessarily succeeding, but at the very least getting it to be somewhat functional. He tried to ride it,
but he could not get very far on it. He went about two yards before the front wheel got stuck in the sand and he was thrown forward head first, surviving the fall only because the sand was so soft. He dusted himself and got back on it, digging around a bit and trenching the back wheel to make a make-shift stationary bicycle. He gripped the metal part instead of the rubber grips and pedaled as quickly as he possibly could. He was starting to feel that static shock again.

Voltaire kept on pedaling on that bike, but it ultimately went nowhere no matter how hard he tried. He was feeling a little woozy and wanted to lay down but did not want lay down on the sand again. It was horribly uncomfortable, as it just so happened.
He walked over to his clothes and grabbed the coat, and when he did the static finally reacted. The electricity ran up his body but shockingly, it did not shock him. It seemed to just meld into his chakra.

The sun was starting to come up, but Voltaire was far from done with his Chakra training. He stood up straight and threw his hands to really feel the majestic rays falling all over his body. The heat that it came from the powerful sun was making him feel powerful as his chakra was getting more malleable, and more likely to take on whatever was around him. His porcelain skin glowed as the light creeping up from the horizon hit it. He took a slow, deep breath as he allowed it to change him for the better, hoping for the best as he now just naturally drew in its energy.
