| Mihara was 15. He had few friends due to his personality. One of those very few friends, was a boy named Ishi Omo. He was Mihara's age, with some of Mihara's skills. The major difference between the two wasn't actually the skill. It was the sheer difference of opinion. Ishi agreed that they should stay neutral, while Mihara wanted them to fight and win against all the other nations. He knew they could, that was his whole ideals. However, that wasn't what they were doing. If it were, that would've been easier for Mihara. However, Ishi was there and they were not fighting. That was the problem.
"Why the hell do I need to do this? I'm the best anyway!"
"It's so you can 'be the best' longer."
They were meditating to increase their chakra; with little actual success. This was because, at 15, Mihara was antsier than he is now. He was just as much of a prick, though.

| "This is stupid!"
He spoke this as he had his eyes closed, and kept his breathing consistent. He had a talent for berating Ishi and doing whatever he was doing at the time. If only he put forth the energy he used to berate Ishi, into literally anything else, that he'd be a fantastic Samurai. It's a well known fact. He was putting forth effort to train chakra, and build up his reserves. He knew that Ishi was right, but still thought he looked stupid. He wanted to be cutting people down, not gaining chakra! He knew it was smart but it was stupid.
"You know I'm right. I know you hate what I say, but You know I'm smart."
If he weren't meditating, Mihara would've smashed Ishi's nose into four pieces. Maybe five, if he was feeling extra neat that day. However, he kept his cool and continued to meditate. It was made harder because of Ishi, but it was made possible because of him. It was a mixed bag of things that still made Mihara want to deck the other boy in the face. He still sat there, meditating to try and increase his Chakra.

| There would've been a thousand mutterings of curses if Mihara were to have been alone, in fact, there probably would've been a different type of training going on. If it were up to him, which is really wasn't, he would be dealing with his chakra in a constructive way. He'd be dealing with this through seperate ways. By cutting things down faster. You didn't need stamina if you could just kill them instantly. That was his thought process, and that wasn't wrong. It wasn't right, but it wasn't wrong. That's the odd thing about his mentality, is you could pick it all day long. The simple fact was, that he was both right and wrong at the same time. He didn't understand this, however, as he thought he was completely correct.
He didn't even take the idea of moving during this training into consideration. He just wanted to get this over with, and he thought that it was taking too god damn long. That's what angered Mihara. He still sat there, meditating. With very little inner turmoil. He felt like Ishi should've been saying stupid things, but that wasn't happening. He was alright with that. He could live without Ishi talking, but it still felt bad that Ishi was one of his few friends and he treated him like trash. The problem was, he didn't know how to treat him any other way.

| He continued to meditate, he was finally feeling some progress done. He was finally feeling more power to him. That was important for the man. For the boy, really. He tended to forget that he was young and inexperienced because of his abilities. He was a strong ninja, make no mistake. He was also an overconfident one that often lost because he forgot that Ishi was also immensely strong. That Ishi was his equal. He forgot this because, unlike Mihara, he didn't flaunt this at every possible moment. He also showed it while fighting Mihara and other people. The prick. He had all the strength in the world, why didn't he use it to fight people?
He stayed meditating though, feeling it getting closer and closer that he was going to get the full effect from this training.

| He felt it finish. He felt that he had gotten all that he had got from this venture. He heard Ishi getting up, and that proved it. That proved he had gotten everything from it that he could. He was the same as Ishi, in that he trained at the same speed. He opened his eyes and got up. Ishi was looking at him weird, and that always meant that he had some sort of funky training that would work. That would always work, and anger Mihara some more. He adored the boy, but he could only treat him like trash because that's all he knew how to do.
"Mihara. I know you learn by seeing. I know this because i know you. I'm going to make sure you stay watching while we train. Come here. Turn your back to me."
What was the prick thinking now? Well, he had a feeling, but he trusted Ishi. That was a rare thing, for Mihara to trust someone. If it were up to him, he wouldn't trust anyone, but Ishi had been the man he grew closer to. That he had grown close enough to trust him. Though, that meant he had to endure stupidity like this. He felt the rope slide around each wrist, in sort of rope-cuffs. Ishi had done this before, to stop him from attempting the tricks as he would have normally.

| "Fine! You're lucky that you're the best trash that I know!" He groaned as he tried to get out of the ropes now holding his wrists. It wasn't going to work. He knew this and he still tried. That was a bad habit of his, at the time. He walked with Ishi, for a little bit. It was a little bit of a warm up that Ishi helped him do. Otherwise, he'd never get warmed up and ruin the muscles in every part of his body. Mihara, mind you, had no shame and cared not what it looked like. He cared not because he had no particular reason to care. They stopped walking after roughly ten minutes, and Ishi pushed Mihara down.
"Okay. We're going to learn the basics of a style, are you ready?"
"Blech." | |

| He watched Ishi try to explain something different than what he was to learn. However, he was to learn one of his signiture techniques. He yelled at Ishi to stop, and did a small stretch. He had a stupid smile on his face that could only mean he had figured something out. It probably wasn't a good thing. Ishi, surprisingly, did stop when he was yelled at to. He was glaring at Mihara, sure, but that's just a matter of 'he never wants to do a thing that we need to do' except this time, it's to learn. For once, he wanted to learn, which frankly amazed Ishi.
He had Ishi step back, and charged forward. Once he was within a small area, he practically leaped forward, and while Ishi was reacting to that, he stepped back and threw a kick that was caught by Ishi. However, the look on Ishi's face was the one recognition on what he tried to do. Ishi hated Mihara sometimes, but this wasn't one of those times. If only Mihara could be like this at all times.
"I get it, but as it stands, it needs refinement. Once you do that, I do think that it'll be a nasty technique.

| "Oh yeah? Take this!"
He ran forward and would attempt to kick Ishi, who simply parried it. This fight wouldn't go on for long, as Mihara's plan started to work. He had gotten Ishi to parry in a pattern, and that's when his plan kicked into full gear. As Ishi went to block the kick he had originally used, Mihara used his other leg to launch himself forward, and once landed, slid back before running forward and nailing Ishi with a knee to the bridge of the nose. This was the original form of the sinister strike. One of the original forms, at least.
"See!"
Ishi disagreed, and swiftly nailed Mihara in the nose with a hook. Mihara understood that this was no ones fault but his own, but still. That was totally rude. Not out of character, but rude. He stamped on the ground to stay standing. How mean.
"That wasn't the original one and you know it. Now, come on and hurry up. I want you to figure this bloody thing out before I break you."
Mihara frowned, this wasn't as fun.
