Name: Escort The Kage! [P, Satomi]

The Summit of the Kages ran at the same time every year since the Hidden villages rose. A ceasefire would be proposed and the group would meet allowing them to first discuss their lands then it would move on to discussing the world as a whole. It was also known that even though all the villages signed a ceasefire so that they could not sabotage one another while their guard was down, the Missing-nin, however, do not follow these same rules. Deciding that it was safer to travel at night the elders suggested that the Mizukage should move during then with the protection of some higher class shinobi to protect her. A caravan of both servants and officials surrounded a carriage that contains the Mizukage.

Ozai had arrived pretty early to the gates and was sitting atop the fancy cart that the "package" was in. He had absolutely no quarrels with this mission and was exactly pretty excited that he was chosen out of the whole village to escort the Mizukage. The darkness had really set in this night with clouds blocking out the stars. It didn't help that the only sounds that filled the void were the horses neighing mixed with the rustling of tree branches from the wind. Ozai had pulled out all the stops for this mission making sure that he brought his beloved Kusanagi with him. He was also more swayed to accept the mission when he learned Satomi would be accompanying him, it would give him more time to analyze the Uchiha.

The Mizukage was impressed with his last mission with the Hoshigaki. It seemed as if their services were called upon them again. He was summoned to watch over the Mizukage as a personal guard, on his way to the Summit of Kages. Satomi Uchiha was dressed in full ANBU gear. The owl mask always on and always aware. There was barely anything that could get past Sato's eyes.

They destroyed a powerful Kaguya Missing-Nin. A name was beginning to grow with two. Kiri-ninja on the rise of power. Walking beside the carrier holding the Mizukage, and his subjects were there and around the carrier. Not strong enough to guard against real ninja. But they had a job ahead of them.

When Satomi showed up the caravan began to move along with him and the cart began to slowly creep forward with Kaiju on top of it. "I hope you came prepared today Satomi, no idea what lies ahead of us but it cannot be anything pretty considering we're escorting the kage. Make sure those eyes of yours are on guard." he said as the cart hit another bumped in the road rather rough causing him to jump down from the cart and begin walking himself. Between the servants and officials, there were a total of 9 walking with them and 1 elder riding in the kart with the Kage. Kaiju fell back behind the the kart where no other people were hopefully if an attack did happen from back here. Everything is easy to get to when you have a powerful sword, maybe I should just stand on top he wondered as he placed a hand on Kusanagi.

The Kusanagi Blade. How did the Hoshigaki get hold of the legendary sword? The opposite of the sword he was looking to find himself. A strange coincidence. However that made him on par with one of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist. Then Satomi was pleased with the security of the Mizukage, who would dare try their hands against them anyways. These were days of peace. Or so he thought.

There was a unnatural silence and quieting the area. There was something following them. He could feel a presence, something different then noticing someone by sight. No this was something ANBU had trained to feel. Killing intent. Such a feeling was radiant, they were not alone.

As the darkness of night began to envelop them only a few torches carried by the Kage's servants would light the way for them. Snowflakes had begun to fall lightly covering the ground with a pure white and crisp blanket. Footprints littered the snow leaving a perfect breadcrumb trail behind all of them. The snow was very unexpected and not helping out the mission at all, even though it made for such a beautiful night they weren't there for the scenery.

"So Satomi, tell me do you plan on joining the Seven Swordsman of the Mist? It would be quite a sight to see an Uchiha in such a group probably even a first. The legends that surround the group would become monstrous. I had that about joining myself at one point, but I passed." Kusanagi was the reason Ozai had passed on the group, however, he still thought about claiming one of the swords for his own just for the versatility that came with them. Kusanagi would do him well but he had plans for multiple swords to be in his possession to prove his worth as a swordsman.

"So Satomi, tell me do you plan on joining the Seven Swordsman of the Mist? It would be quite a sight to see an Uchiha in such a group probably even a first. The legends that surround the group would become monstrous. I had that about joining myself at one point, but I passed."

Sato at first didn't know what to say. He did at one point imagine himself being apart of the Swordsmen of the Mist. However he has found a weapon much more deadlier than those at disposal of the Mist Village. But it seemed like a distant goal now. He was to closely watched by the elders led by Grim.

"No. Not yet it seems. I have my eyes set on a sword yes. But nothing quite yet can link me to the Swordsman."

In the middle of their conversation however they were interrupted. Someone was standing clothed and caped in the middle of the road. Seemingly he appeared from thin air.

It was reassuring to Ozai to know that there were other ninja in the village that weren't going to be associated with the swordsman. They were a mighty force for Kirigakure, but a shinobi could be strong on their own as well and defend the village just fine. Maybe i'll have to go about creating my own force for Kirigakure. "I wouldn't want to persuade you either way, yet I hope your endeavors pay off in the end. If Kirigakure is strong individually it will be strong as a whole." he said patting the man on the shoulder.

A man appeared in front of them with no words or anything. It was strange that a lone man would just confront them in the middle of nowhere, but since they were escorting the kage it had to be taken as a threat. Pulling Kusanagi from it's sheath with haste the blade made a very peculiar whistle as the blade made its way into the open air. Ozai made his way to the front of the cart and pointed the sword to the man. "I don't know who you are but this is definitely not a wise decision."

Something had gone wrong. Whereas the rode they were on and whom they were escorting were all classfied information. How was there a lone man barring their pathway. He opened his hood to reveal a bald man with pale skin and red eyes, however it was his eyes that gave everyone pause. They were opaque almost lucid. And there was a tightening of nerves to centered around the eyes. Satomi was very familiar with his sister dojutsu. The Byakugan.

"This rode is closed. You are to leave immediately," Satomi ordered. But he knew it would fall on deaf ears. This man came to kill them all. He must've been the real deal to come this far by himself.

"That won't be happening," the Hyuga man said.

"Then prepare to be put down," Satomi said mentioning for Ozai to attack.

Listening to the man and Satomi talk it became rather obvious that he was a Hyuga, but what exactly did he have against the Hidden Mist? Ozai was curious about the man and his story yet now was not the time for learning it was the time for killing. "I don't know what you plan to do against two shinobi. If you were smart you would clear our path but since you choose not to I will take pleasure in killing you." Giving the man no time to rebuttal Ozai jumped from the top of the kart and sent Kusanagi expanding at the man attempting to stab him, He figured that the Hyuga would easily dodge his attempt and hoped that Satomi would have his back.

Ozai attacked immediately. Snaking his way into the area, he darted forward with his deadly blade in his hands. The Kusanagi blade all of suddenly extended forward, speeding towards the man. At such a speed it would have caught anyone off guard. Of course however this was no ordinary man even by Hyuga standards. He was a highly dangerous S-class missing ninja. Currently in the bingo book, a man who coincidentally was also on the Satomi's.

That meant he was no pushover. He with his Byakugan he was essentially invulnerable to the surprises. He dodge the attack by Ozai and was beginning to retaliate by holding his palms up. Instantly Satomi acted, he took off at full speed to intercept the Hyuga. He activated his Sharingan so that he could match the Byakugan head to head.

Unsheathed his Katana and swung to decapitate the man after disappearing and reappearing next to the Hyugan assassin. In one fluid motion he ducked downwards and used that momentum to began a a very fast rotation. Almost in a crouch like position. A dome of chakra exuded outwards Satomi. He managed to see the movement and could tell he was planning on doing something. Making Sato stop short of a melee attack. Letting him know getting close wouldn't be easy.

Ozai watched as Satomi engaged the rogue Hyuga. It was obvious that the Hyuga was utilizing his byakugan due to the strain on his forehead. That byakugan would allow him to more than likely combat both Satomi and Ozai at the same time because of his all-seeing eyes. Satomi charged the rogue ninja at full speed pulling a katana, though it was countered by the Hyuga with a technique of his own. It was turning out to be a battle of the eyes and Ozai was outmatched.

Withdrawing Kusanagi back to its original length Ozai would sheathe it before bringing his hands together to complete a few seals. Drawing his right hand back he used water from the snow all around them to draw moisture and mix it with his chakra. "Water Release: Five Feeding Sharks" he shouted as he flung his right hand forward causing five drops of water to come flying each of his fingers eventually forming into very large sharks aimed straight for the Hyuga.

Satomi had retreated back shortly to gain a bit of distance from the chakra rotation sphere. He had heard of their defense but had never seen the technique in person. It was formidable, worthy of the one of the three Dojutsu eyes. Ozai had enough of this assassins tactics and sent five sharks flying through the air. Again the attacks were voided away with a blast from the Hyuugas Rotating Palm technique. They had no way in. However there was a remembrance of an earlier conversation that seemed to dawn on the Hyuga. For he looked into the eyes of Satomi.

The eyes had changed into the Mangkyo Sharingan however there was a swivel to it as their enemy for years to past had shown before. The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan?! The Assassin thought.

"Amaterasu!" Satomi shouted. Instantly the assassin was set ablaze in a fiery black flames. It covered the top half of his body to his head. Satomi's eyes strained with the sudden drop in chakra. Now the man was completely open for an attack from Ozai.

Ozai was becoming quite pissed with this palms rotation shit, it was as if the hyuga had just put a barrier up around himself that they couldn't penetrate. Ozai's heart dropped as a black flame began to consume the upper body of the Hyuga. Never before had Ozai seen such a technique except for when he was studying in his books. The flames that would never go out were very frightening indeed because Ozai knew he himself wouldn't be able to counter them either. With the Hyuga concerned with the flames surrounding his upper body it left his guard down and Ozai intended to take advantage of this. Pulling Kusanagi from its sheath again he would swing the blade wide and cause it to extend before swinging it directly at the Hyuga's knees. Without any legs to move on it would become difficult for the Huyga to counter them let alone get away from the flames.

The Kusanagi was one of the legendary weapons of old. Known as the Grasscutter as well. There was only maybe two swords in existence on its level in sharpness. It could practically cut through anything. To see that bit, the Hyuga had no chance in stopping the blade as Ozai cut down low trying to remove the mans legs. With no possible way to remove the black flames, he burned still and had no way to stop Ozai from attacking him.

The blade cut through like butter, already in morbid pain this was like overkill. And Satomi had no problem with that. He took a certain satisfaction killing those who tried their hands at killing his precious Mizukage. A certain addiction that he hadn't quite been able to heal.
