Hakkesho Kaiten; a truly useful jutsu used by the Hyuga clan. A secret taijutsu that is orally handed down only within the main house of the Hyuga clan.  It is shown that this technique requires constant focus and precise control of one's chakra to execute the move properly. If not, the user will repel themselves out of the technique upon forming it and Kyo was about to attempt it for the first time.

Sitting with the scroll and actually reading it over and over actuallyade it clearer and clearer for him. He had studied the chakra circulatory system immensely. Thanks to his Byakugan, tenketsu points were as.clear as day and as big as billboards to him. He knew where each one in the human body was located and that was the foundation laid right there. Chakra control of great quantity was also an issue...to the uninitiated but Kyo was very initiated in it so he by passed such difficulties with little problem. At once he started.to leak chakra through the nodes.that existed in his body. With this coating of chakra he used it to start the rotation needed. His first attempt was not successful at all. He barely spun at all and the ground under him barely started to cut under the meager force of his rotation.He did not spend.much chakra due to his chakra control. But still as much as you would like to deny it he failed.

It was not a strange occurance because even the best of the best of the Hyuga clan had difficulty with Kaiten. It truly was a difficult jutsu to master. Kyo did not have all the time in the world since the Chuunin exams was coming up in a few days and Kyo had to be as competitive as possible. He was sure there were going to be true monsters in the exam. To keep up with them, Kyo had to become a monster himself.  And to do that he had to train to his limit every single session from now until the exams. Punch it until there is nothing left but an iron will to win and abilities to support such an iron will.

Kyo got angry at himself for not being able to do this at the first try. If he was someone else and saw him right now he would beat himself up. He closed his eyes and decided he wanted to start to meditate. He took a deep breath in and tries to relax and empty his mind of all other thoughts other than learning this jutsu. It was true as he remembered what he read about the jutsu. It required a high level of concentration and right now he was overly anxious which made it nearly impossible to do a full powered Kaiten. He imagined himself by the water fall with the water beating on his back gently giving him a natural massage. He started to relax more and more until he was completely calm. Suddenly chakra erupted from his tenketsu, chakra cloaked his body as he spun and release a torrential dome like force that was capable of pushing back nearly anything. As he stopped the rotation, there was a massive crater dug into the ground because of his jutsu with him standing at the center of it. He was satisfied learning this most important jutsu.
