Kyo went home and so did Azan to gather whatever tools they had to get for this battle. It seemed that the man they were after did not even bother to make any effort to keep his location hidden which was unnerving to Kyo. Maybe he should have called Rei to go with him but knew she was maybe busy. At least he was not going alone. He still had Azan with him and that had to count for something. They met at the village gates just as he and Rei did for their mission. But this was not any registered mission. He won't be getting paid for this. Not by a long shot.

The pay he will be getting is the personal satisfaction that he would be protecting Konoha if he managed to kill this man. He sounded pretty strong and if left unchecked it could potentially spell doom for his village. Although he was confident in the Hokage's and the rest of the ninja in the village, why bother them with such things when he could do this for them as it were. As he walked away from the village towards the fire temple and it's lands, all these thoughts raced through his mind.
