Path of Ninjutsu. [Training Thread]

The bright and warm day provided the perfect opportunity for some pre-exam training on the behalf of the Uzumaki Clan Heir. He arrived to his training spot after getting up and getting dressed for the occasion and packing some food. He was going to be here a while, he needed to focus on his Ninjutsu skills more and not just Fuinjutsu or Taijutsu. He needed some more skills to make himself more versatile in combat. So it was do or die before these exams came along. He snatched up a small bundle of paper and ink on his way out to his spot and sat down to look at it curiously. In the ink he was aware it was from Uzushio, some of their ink they made from the herbs and the paper was some of that chakra nature paper he had which he wanted to try and play around with it would be his base for this session.

"Guess it's time to begin."




Training: Expert Ninjutsu [1/5]

Taking the ink he began by tipping a small amount on the dirt and placing his hand in the small puddle he began to focus some of his wind release chakra into it, the wind chakra infused itself into the liquid, moving in between the molecules that made up the liquid and pushed them apart to produce a small cloud that began to rise like mist, a black mist that was incredibly difficult to see into. The pitch black colour made there very little variations to make it appear to have any depth other than a smudge. Curiously he stuck his finger in the ink and pulled it out to look at the now black finger.

"Interesting, I wonder if this could be applied to something else. Maybe Fuinjutsu? But how?"

He tried to think on it since he couldn't make the ink form a seal as it was ink itself. There had to be a way though, if he could make this ink work with Ninjutsu and Fuinjutsu it could be very valuable.

Finding that simply trying to make the seal occur using the ink wouldn't work, instead he would have to do something more intricate such as minute changes to the chakra receptive ink which made it have a sealing formula encoded onto it. His hands began to work until he looked at it and activated it which worked, he could not move his finger whatsoever. He could only picture what it could do on a much grander scale.

"This will work very well for area control, now if I could just... infuse a bit of fire we might get somewhere even more interesting."

Looking at the residue ink left in a tiny cloud he moulded fire release chakra before blowing it onto ink and watched as it lit up like oil and burned like it. A little extra fire and he watched it make a tiny bang. This could work very well he thought.

Setting aside the container of ink Hideo's hands grasped the stack of paper, there was a technique he had seen performed by a street performer in Uzushiogakure, they used the Ram Handsign and were able to somehow control paper as well as turn into paper. Hideo had been entranced by the beauty of the technique and the fatality it could incur. He had chosen chakra receptive paper since it would conduct his chakra much easier and be a good beginning point for the technique.

He wanted to begin simply, taking the paper he began folding it into origami. Trying to ease his chakra into the paper as he worked it with his hands until he created the crane. Using the Ram Seal he watched as the chakra activated inside the paper and the crane began to fly. It was a good start. Taking it to a new idea, he tried using the chakra already moulded in the paper to change the crane into a paper shuriken and launch it towards a tree. It didn't make the whole distance though and Hideo figured it was something he could work on at least.

The young man stood up and retrieved the shuriken before looking at it curiously, it was an interesting technique that clearly could have more practical uses than simply a street performance trick. Looking at the other pieces he quickly painted an explosive seal on them and turned them into shuriken before trying again to launch them but when he saw them not make the distance instead he ignited them and made them explode as though they were explosive tags. A deadly surprise. It would be something few would see coming in the exams.

He packed himself up and went back home, realising he had spent the whole day just playing with ink and paper to try out ideas for jutsu he was very hungry and he had used quite a lot of chakra for him. It was very strange, he'd just hone those ideas though and make them much more developed though.
