Voltaire focused hard on the mental image of the spider that he had been saved by after all of his horrible training out in the desert. Voltaire used his teeth to remove his right glove and then released the grip of his jaws to let the glove fall gently onto his knee. He bit his thumb and smacked the ground at full force. He started to push chakra into the ground where his hand sunk into the sand. He kept his eyes closed and kept on pushing the chakra into that point. It expanded as it continued to go down, creating a small space where something would easily be able to come through.

Voltaire kept open that space within the space for something to enter through a form of chakra based dimensional warp. Somewhere far far away only reachable through the contract that Voltaire had signed and now protects, a large arachnid who was resting on a rock in a deep cavern felt the energy of his contract holder pulling him into the human world at full force. The space glowed blue and then there was an explosion of white smoke concealing the entire area. Under Voltaire's hand now resided the spider who had saved Voltaire's life. The spider looked around and saw that nothing was there to fight, and then nodded before going back to his own land as quickly as he came.

Voltaire wanted to make use of his ninjutsu skills, so he gaped his jaw and started to focus his chakra into the walls of his mouth. He stood crouched, slowly putting his glove back on his right hand and then clasping his hands, his knees bent and his feet spread a bit apart. He stared forward into the nothingness of the sandy abyss, focusing his attention on a specific point off in the distance to also concentrate his Chakra. The saliva in his mouth was now starting to spark and static.

Voltaire's mouth was getting more and more electrified and he focused further on getting his Chakra to materialize in between his cheeks. In the center of his mouth was a small ball of electricity. It was moving around, swirling and bubbling, almost like a miniature chidori inside of his mouth. The ball inside was connected to small currents coming from several places inside of his mouth, pushing in from several directions and forcing the swirl to continue in its formless state. It was growing slowly but surely into something larger, something far more destructive. Finally, it had gotten so large that Voltaire was having to open his jaw so wide that it hurt, and he knew that it was time to release it as best he could.

The orb of lightening that had formed inside of Voltaire's mouth had started to extend past Voltaire's teeth and then his lips, part of it expanding beyond the rest of it as it contorted its shape. As it started to grow and change shape it was ceasing to look like a sphere and started to look more like a cone with a rounded bottom. There were still currents inside of his mouth branching into it and filling it up with energy. The pointed end that was extending from his mouth was giving sparks off into the air.

The further it went the sharper it became, eventually reaching a full point with two edges as it flattened out into a a triangle with a rounded bottom instead of an ice cream cone. He was now able to close his mouth a little bit, but not nearly all the way. The spear tip was about a foot long overall.

The spear tip was now very developed, and what was forming next was the shaft.
It slowly kept on growing. The nature of the currents made it so that every now and then it would look more like a lightening strike and less like a long cylinder, but it would always correct after a few seconds.

Though it was actually growing from a point inside of his mouth, it looked like it already existed and was slowly being pushed from somewhere inside of his throat or stomach. By the time that it was done it was a foot of spear tip and a spear of rod, so concrete in shape that one may be fooled into thinking that they would be able to touch it and it would be solid.

The Spear shaped lightening got brighter for a moment before it flew out of his mouth at a high speed, slicing and burning the sand that it made contact with and continuing for forty meters before it finally stopped. In its path there were burn marks, odd glistening stones, and a long trench big enough across to be used for irrigation. The force of it threw Voltaire's head back a bit, but he was thrilled to have it out of him, but not nearly as thrilled as he was to see the sheer destructive force and speed of the technique.

The next technique that Voltaire felt that he needed under his belt was one that mimicked his new favorite animal, the spider, and its amazing ability to trap pray instead of fighting it head on like some sort of a brute. This technique would be far less humilating for him as it was not going to shoot out of his mouth like the foul gruel eaten by peasants when he was forced to dine with the unwashed masses. He started to focus all of the Raiton release into his palm, pushing it against the sandy ground similarly to when he was summoning the spider, which was fitting because this time he would be becoming the spider.

The hand that he had pressed against the grains of sand began to throw off blue sparks,
glowing a little bit; the blue glow looked green as it was laid out on the yellow sands. He felt a small disk of electricity forming beneath his palm, not something spinning or even completely round, just a very flat surface of lightening captured beneath his hand. He felt that it had a center, and that the currents branched outwards from that point, which was at the center of his palm. He felt that the currents branched out in nine different directions while maintaining symmetry and that more currents were connecting those branches.

Slowly, though not nearly as slowly and uncomfortably as with the last Jutsu that he was training, the web was growing out across the sandy expanse. Each of the nine main lines went out thirty meters, with electrical currents connecting each of these nine lines as it went, like seven circles going through it: one at the very tips of each line and then smaller ones coming towards the center point at his hand. The blue lines were giving off sparks, but he did not feel any shock in his palm from which it sprung or on his foot or knee which were caught in the web. He was starting to worry that this technique was worthless.

Just when Voltaire was going to pull the web back in sadness and disappointment, a desert bird ran by in search of a worm, not worried about Voltaire due to how still he had been standing up until this point. As soon as one of its little feet hit one of the blue lines they sparked, flaring up in a rage and snaring it while shocking it and refusing to let it fly or run to safety. Its body jerked around as it made horrible sounds, violently thrashing around. It threw itself around in its attempts to free itself so hard that it broke its leg and both of its wings. By the time that Voltaire pulled back the technique, the bird had died and Voltaire could not possibly care less.

The next area that Voltaire was going to have to focus on was his wind release techniques, and he was not planning to neglect that. He had never used his wind release element to use any techniques before, but he very much understood what to do for some reason. His chakra started to flow faster through his chakra network so fast that the blue veins that carried the natural energy were shaking it. It was as though his Chakra was wind itself. It was faster, thinner, and more malleable than it normally was.

His body started to shake violent from how quickly the chakra was moving and how similar to the winds of the desert outside that it really was. His hair started to swirl around clockwise.
The sands started to move in a circle around him, about a foot wide circle around his feet. His cloak started to bounce around. There was no wind in the desert itself, but a great gust was starting to come from Voltaire himself. Some of the sand even started to lift up off of the ground as the speed of the winds coming from the young shinobi intensified. His body did not move and he formed no hand signs, but the Jutsu was coming along pretty well thus far. It was just coming naturally to him.

The force of the wind started to erupt from within Voltaire's body, his chakra truly becoming wind as it bloomed with an astonishing impact in all directions around him. Sand was flung into the air around him, the air around him was pushed into the air around the air around him, a small circular ditch formed around his feet, and his cloak was thrown into the air, almost being pushed off of his body with the force of the winds. The place that he was in made it to where the vision of a person being hit by it would also make it much harder to see him, blinding them.

As his control of the technique intensified he found that something he had heard about it and shrugged off as a joke to be very much the truth. It could not just be used to push things away, but the direction of it could be very well controlled, like he could decide the direction that he wanted to fling things with the force of a thousand winds instead of just forming a protective cyclone around his person. He was extremely good at controlling his Chakra as both Medical Ninjutsu and Puppet Mastery were very demanding of this ability, so he had no issues in making this technique as well bend to his directional will power. He wanted it to move to his right, it moved to his right, moving everything around him in that direction as well. He decided that he wanted it to go left and all of the sand that had been blown up into the sky when he decided that it was going right was smacked into the other direction in mid-air. He pushed it straight up, feeling like he was moving all of his Chakra to his head as a way of remote controlling the unbelievably powerful gusts, and so much sand flew up that it looked like a geyser had blown in the desert from the outside looking in. He then had it blow out in all directions again to make sure that it would not get in his eyes and in his nice clothing,
and suddenly a giant's handful of desert was flung in all directions. Though this practice in the Futon release felt like a millennia in how powerful it made him, it was all over in a fraction of a second.

Voltaire was content with this one Futon technique as he found all of them at his skill level to be far too similar and this one to be the best version of the same old thing. His suiton however,
he felt could greatly aid him as a desert fighter. It would leave most ninja completely bewildered before they could do anything to stop it if they too were from the Land of Wind, as it was very rare to see any water based combat in the area. He allowed his chakra to slow down, to thicken, to ebb and flow instead of just churning through his body the way that blood did, to truly be water. He even felt more serene while doing this practice exercise.

What Volt felt happening in his body next was, and would for many years likely to continue to be, the strangest sensation that he had ever felt. The chakra network had started to produce actual water and pour it into his physical body, specifically into his stomach and mouth. It was not like he was drooling, or like he had drank too much water as he often did to fight off the never ending heat of the desert that surrounded his village, it was like his body had a layer of water balloons just around the digestive system and somebody had reach inside of his midsection to start poking at them with needles, or like there were sprinklers going off on the intestinal wall turning his entire gastro instestinal track into some sort of a kiddy pool. He did not dislike it either, it was soothing in a surreal sort of way, like he had comfort now in knowing that his chances of dehydration were now at a constant zero as long as he had chakra to spare, which he often did unless he trained too hard and no fight had ever pushed him to use much of it at all. His whole body was starting to relax from the stiff stances required for lightening release and wind release techniques.

The water was filling up his stomach now all the way up to the back of his throat, swishing around whenever he took a single step in any direction, making him feel woozy and confused. He was off balance, and starting to even fill physically ill for allowing himself to build up so much water inside of his body, but he did his very best to keep his mouth closed so that the technique would not be weakened by his own lack of will power or his stomach capacity. The first of the two traits was helping to carry him through this situation, but the latter he feared was soon to fail him. He felt his gut pushing out and stretching in uncomfortable and painful ways as it was expanded beyond its usual safe dimensions, as if he had swallowed a tsunami.

When Voltaire finally released the fluids that he had been building up for the moments that felt like hours prior he was astonished by the volume and the power of the technique. The water was coming out so quickly that it was building a small body of water in front of him, spreading out and then building up higher before repeating. Due to the force of it coming from his gullet it was all moving forward, none of it pooling up behind him, only splashing a little bit behind him. The was soaking up the water as was natural for such dry sod, but there was too much water there for it to do it with any success. The force of the water was pushing itself forward in an enormous wave, but then to Voltaire's astonishment it continued on its course from his mouth even when he was done releasing it from his body.

As the great wave continued even after the water had stopped being produced or thrown up by Voltaire, he decided that he was going to do something that he had loved to much to do on his beach visits as a younger child. He jumped up onto the crashing wave from its source and moved in the direction of a water that he had created. The swiftness of the waves allowed him to shoot himself ahead several meters and at a speed that he would have never been able to run, all without having expended energy apart from the Chakra that he had, in his own mind, ridiculous amounts of. When he landed he was not smacked hard into the ground, but softly pushed onto the sand as if he had ridden a returning tide to the beach. He looked behind him and saw that there was an enormous puddle almost the sie of a lake.

Voltaire stood in the water that he had created; it was somewhere between an enormous puddle and a small pond. He spread his chakra to his feet, not to try to walk on it, but with the sole intentions of doing just the opposite, he was going to try and sink into it. He was opening up the water and somehow creating a space within it, something that felt more like Fuinjutsu in concept than it did Ninjutsu, but he had no issues with the concept that it was something that he was able to do without dabbling in Fuinjutsu. As more and more space within the surface of the water was created he found himself sinking deeper and deeper into it, though at the same time not going into the sand or even the bottom of the puddle. As he sunk completely into it he found himself in an awe striking position. He was standing on and under the surface of the water, looking up through the puddle like his portal to the outside. He had to lean in one direction or the other a bit here and there to see what was happening around the puddle since it was flat and not porthole shaped to give him a better idea of what was coming or going, but it was definitely worth its reputation as a great method of ambush.

As Voltaire returned to the surface he felt as though he was just turning from water back into a man, and it looked even more that way. But he was not content with his ability to use the water elemental release to his fullest capacity, even with Suiton: Exploding Water Colliding Wave and Suiton: Hiding in Water Jutsu, he was sure that he could do something to further enhance the killing potential of himself and his puppets. He knew the weakness of all things best, that something that is expected can in turn be reacted to, no act being completely without an existing counter measure from even a talented academy student or Genin. He focused on the water around him now, instead of just what was below him or what was inside of him. The entire area around him had become far more humid as the sun was picking up the mess that he had just made with all of his Suiton training. He focused his chakra on the water around him, his clear intent to condense and use it.

With his chakra spread out all around him he could feel the individual water droplets,
and he knew that he was going to have to really move if he was going to test out this technique because their existence was fleeting in this sun. Even the puddle that he had just emerged from was nearly gone. He then decided to draw from the water in the puddle and what had sank into the sand as well. He pulled it all up and spread it out, looking to produce even more water from each of these nearly microscopic points. As he was slowly succeeding he noticed that the humidity from when he was first practicing Suiton: Hiding in Water had returned. He poured in more of his chakra, pushing as much as he could into each of these small points, and noticing with glee as they grew slowly into an enormous mist that covered the sandy terrain around himself for several meters.

Voltaire placed his palms hard onto the sandy surface to manipulate the Earth in front of him. A circle started to form directly in front of him and it was about five meters wide and it was slowly creeping up. To manipulate the sand Voltaire was having to switch over from the water nature chakra release to the earth nature chakra release, from Suiton to Doton. His Chakra flow felt like it was slowing down in some way, but not weakening by any measure. He could feel the circle on the surface of the desert and was pulling up the sand. He was pulling in sand from around the edges of the circle to raise it higher and higher, creating a circular wall that was creeping up towards becoming an actual dome. As the wall kept getting higher, about two meters high at this point and existing gap of the building wall was now about three meters, but as it grew sand was starting to fall off of the top of it.

The sands crept further and further, but no matter how much effort or even Chakra Voltaire put into it they had not interests in forming anything strong, always falling apart before a full dome could be formed. The sands reached further and further but never went anywhere that he needed them to for this thing to form sufficiently. And when there was any breeze the whole thing would come tumbling down immediately. He tried to just hold his body and his chakra steady, no longer trying to force it to form into anything, but not just trying to make it hold whatever was already there. But then he accidentally leaned forward just a bit and the wall that he had on his hand came falling down, and with it the rest of it as his chakra was no longer as connected.
