| - Mission:
Name: Fix the Wagon. Location: Konohagakure. Rank: D-rank. Team: Not required. Client: Mr. Takeda. Rewards: 200 EXP and 500 Ryo Description: A popular merchant's wagon has broken, he requires it fixed and to support the village's ninja he has put it up as a mission for shinobi to have a learning experience.
Jin belonged to a popular merchant family: the Ota family. His family’s business was to find rare and village specific or area specific things and bring them to Konoha to sell them. It was a good business and the family did well. Actually, the Ota family was known in Konoha for this sort of business. Ota family was just one of the merchant families of Konoha, obviously. So the request caught Jin’s attention and he was on his way. He had been in the merchant circle for a little while. It was after he graduated the academy. He had to help out with the family business for quite a few years.
The request was placed by another merchant family. They were bringing merchandise in and had to travel on a rocky train. They had some trouble when they were coming back and because of the weight of their purchased merchandise, their wagon was now broken.
After receiving the request, Jin rushed to the location and remembered to bring along all the necessary tools. Mr. Takeda greeted him and lead him to the damaged wagon. The wagon was wooden with nice big wheels to support the weight of heavy merchandise, it was pretty standard wagon. Jin got to it. They had the supplies ready so he didn’t have to worry about finding appropriate wood. He was no carpenter though, so this wasn’t going to be a professionally repaired thing. However, he was familiar with the business and the wagons they used; so it wouldn’t be too amateur either.
It took Jin a couple of hours and he was done with the repairs. He did manage to injure a couple of his fingers and did suffer from quite a few splinters but Mr. Takeda was happy with the work. And that’s all that mattered for Jin.
