Restless, her evening had gone by with many periods of time where she had been awake or in a state of nightmares. Hours of inability to sleep had passed by, sweat formed on the youths back until the situation had forced her to simply do something. Driven to the edge by incessant dreams pounding her every moment, sheets torn awoken in a fit soft fluff as everywhere around her from yet another  shredded pillow from restless nights. Without a care to do any better she had left the house before dawn without a jacket. Sodden from the rain and without protection she had entered the stormy early mornings wearing simply a cotton shirt and leggings. The most basic of training clothing as a storm raged around her, unbrushed hair plastered to her face from the rain, had she been in a good state of hind Miko would have tied it back. Perhaps she could learn something whilst out here, water release most likely. Slumped against a rock, a godforsaken place somewhere close to the training grounds.

It had prickled the air at first, tentative like a deer just standing watching. Yet once determined it was okay the clouded sky lit up momentarily. A clouds depth was exposed once lightening shone through it. The entire sky lighting up at the same time in hues of green and blue. Eyes raised in a swift movement, accepting the full glory of it, as if a painting every layer acted alone yet accompanied the others in a perfect dance like motion. Relaxed as she could the young woman moved her chakra around, speeding up the circulation of it. The storm like weather energized her, she could feel the pure power that lurked in every breath she took, with large breaths of air leftovers from the lightning continued to takeover her mind. The sky had turned a green again before some spindles of blue and purple struck out across the sky in a race to see who would be the largest spike of lightning tearing the sky open.

Her chakra moved with that in the air, tentatively with her own similarities to the element which ripped apart the early morning sky, her chakra had begun to inject itself into the atmosphere merging into a single mass of energy and electricity from the natural world. It was almost as if the lightning had grown to be a part of herself, moments passed, her chakra had swelled up almost. No no that wasn’t the right world, she could feel it moving a hundred times faster than previously, vibrating with so much energy that its speed was simply astonishing. It had hurt at first, no not hurt it had more been a feeling of doing something which she was unsure of, a harsh decision made in life. Shoulders rolled and muscles were forced into a relaxed state when the sky cracked open yet again, baring its brightly coloured fangs, one could hardly pinpoint the exact hue of it since the lightning which shattered the sky had a strange colour that wasn’t quite a colour.

The night had been forgotten, nightmares no longer were at the forefront of her mind as the sure serendipity of the moment in time had swept her up into its coils banishing all thoughts that lingered both good or bad. Her form did not shiver, nor did it shake from the winter temperatures and rain which continued to dump down. Whilst the genin would be likely to catch a cold later she wouldn’t have returned home even if her mind had been thinking about her current predicament, it was as if her nerves, every cell, every little sparkle of chakra within the body had been ignited, pouring more of it out into the sky the lightening once more banished the darkness with its bright shocks of light, her chakra latching and clinging onto the lighting riding into the sky high moments as if the world were on an eternal herb induced high.

Numbed, as if injected with some foreign poison a moment of pure release from the natural world as yet another branch like shard of lightning cracked through the slowly lightning sky, reflections of the natural beauty reflecting off clouding. Mere moments later it was all drowned out, everything had shone with the light of day, the brightest explosive could not have outdone the force which blinded the world momentarily with its lightening. Trees clouds and all terrain above the treeline suddenly eluded the view of all. It had been the brightest yet, a green and purple blanket of light which had overtaken the thick cloud layer.
It was almost as if the two parties were negotiating some sort of problem, with the feeling of comprehension flooding her Miko’s mind felt restless once more. As understanding for what she was doing battered her mind, a savage hurricane of knowledge as all she wished to do was curl up with some fresh avocado and a tortilla. The lighting in the air, the raging winds with their hammering rain which fell in sheets from the heavens above. It was almost as if they had formed a contract of sorts, as if the correct proceedings were of reading the last terms and conditions before signing o the last line. Offered up then pushed forth her chakra had certainly sped up, the energetic buzz that filled each line of her inner energy seemed to be a perfect mesh of nature, earth and now lightening.

Relaxed back, shoulder blades dug into the harsh stone behind her, slumped further the matted mop of hair gathered granules of stone in it but she cared not. An odd feeling had settled around her, it felt as if she were slightly more, just more. Each muscle was riled with energy as she wished to get somewhere in life and progress. Brows creased slightly, curious about what had happened over the few hours prior.

It had been an odd feeling, gaining an understanding of the element of lightning made her feel as if she had learnt a great deal about the world. With another element under her belt she knew more about how elements worked with each other, especially as the earth and lightning swirled within her chakra. Lightning was stronger than earth of course yet she felt closer and more connected to earth due to it having been her base element. An understanding of earth as an element had been with her since birth, now with two elements, more comprehension was needed, especially regarding that feeling. The two elements seemed to be trying to connect yet something was stopping them. Head tipped back a sigh escaped her, she needed to understand. If she could understand the two elements then perhaps she could balance them in such a way that they would work in unison instead of one dominating the other. Balance, that word it had come up often! Yes yes with regards to training senjutsu and sage mode. Of course, equilibrium needed for sage mode might also bring clarity to her mind.

Perfect balance, to understand how everything worked in coordination and relied on each other to survive yet the balance remained perfect. The world seemed to have this way of maintaining the equilibrium between everything. If an animal was born too strong then an elderly monstrous beast would die soon, when the trees grew tall their roots refreshed the earth below encouraging smaller and younger plants to reach taller towards the canopy. It was just what happened, her mind wandered carefully, moving across the beaten track of natures mind, the trees housed birds, the birds consumed bugs, plants, fish, a range of species which reproduced at a faster rate than the birds who although had numerous offspring few would spend enough time in the world to reproduce.

A proper seating position was necessary, to connect with the nature and properly comprehend the gigantic web of species and lives that were interwoven with each other the task was so immense that the concentration required was simply horrendous. Yet sage mode would benefit her greatly, after all it was part of her, she merely had to rip into her own mind and unlock the inner self. Slow breathing, a few stretches first to relax everything miko could feel the used and abused muscles within her start to ache deeply. Back straightened her legs curling under her and arms relaxing by her side, to be calm, stationary for a lengthy amount of time to merge with nature what did that really mean, it was odd for her since she had felt nature all her life due to the clan she was in. Every breath she took was full of nature, the chakra she gained every second, chakra she gained unconsciously it was all just nature chakra. In a way she was nature, it blended together inside of her and everything had been that way since she was born so how could she understand the difference between normal and normal? It had sounded simplistic from the sensei she had questioned, his voice still remained in her mind, the slight lisp and heavy raw sound from years of smoking. He had spoken about finding balance, for some balance referred to physical balance and for others it would be the inner balance that they needed to understand. Well he had been sweet and old, a really nice guy. Yet this balance was something that seemed to elude her, nature was in perfect synchronicity, she was the perfect little corner of that puzzle. Yet she didn’t know how or why she fit in, just that she did. How was one supposed to achieve this balance if they already had it?

If she was in there, perfectly wound into the web of lives then perhaps she merely needed to get a better view of those who ate her and those she ate. An understanding of the world around her would give necessary balance. Her body had become completely still, hardened concrete almost the female had retracted all thought so movements, focusing on herself, her mind only considering her training the mental strain slowly began to wind up. The rain no longer affecting her, not a shiver passed across her skin, the dimples did not change shake. She had managed to reach a place of pure stability, even as lightening once again shook the foundations of the falling moon. Who was there for her, there was her mother, there was Zai, she had met many others, her web of stability increased. Mr.Egg and the daughter, Goddess, Marionette. Yes she could sense it, her place of belonging was right here, konoha needed the daughter of a dumpling maker, the daughter who sat outside in the rain, whilst the moon had sunk lower she had not even shaken as a torrential sheet of rain pounded down. Not a reaction as thunder woke the forest up, its voice seemed to be that of a drunk grandfather coming home at two in the morning. Growing and roaring suddenly bursting out into a shout. No no she was truly within herself at this point. It was as if she had suddenly started to realize something, the best part being that this train of thought was long and she was only at the station. The whole world was a cycle which slowly turned with gears clicking everything in sync. She, by being seated stiller than the stone behind her had shown the hidden side within her that the natural world was important for her to understand, it was almost as if her brain had started listening or something, she could speak to herself almost, whispering encouragements, telling herself to move forward with it all, take some action, stop being such a submissive apologetic quitter.

Unlike others she was no wolf in sheep's clothing, perhaps they lived on the outskirts in a tiny two room apartment, perhaps the only interactions they had with society was through the restaurant, where sometimes the two of them were treated on the same level as slaves. Yet this was just the manner that people did things. Everything had to move in this way it was karma, karma whatever call it what you wanted within her she could feel the natural world cycling was her chakra started to bleed out. Nature chakra within her moving away in tendrel like motions she could feel it, the connections forming as mentally the map inside her mind was redrawn with detail added in great detail. Almost as if she had removed herself from her body, everything seemed to make sense in a way that the word clarity could not fully describe. It was more than a jutsu, more than just how the world worked with its infinite possibilities the young woman had discovered herself as well. Body still, not even aching although it should have, chakra flowed freely as the deepest shadows under her eyes caught more water, holding them for just a few seconds before they rolled down the stone face she wore. Even the rain had to follow this strange ruling that nature had. Silence, it resonated within her as suddenly the world went quiet, Truly quiet not her thinking about peace it was her simply seated as the time passed. With newfound understanding the young woman had taken on slight aspects from sage mode, yet they could hardly be seen by the creatures of the forest due to the storm which started to settle slightly causing heavy rain to thin out into a curtain like covering.

Flickering open, gaze swept the area her mind a more mature almost regal format. This was understanding, understanding of how nature ought to be, her body stiff from the length of time she had been seated, yet that bothered her not as the youth felt something within click together, a magnetic force almost pulling earth and lightning into a balance.

Alignment, she had gone through it regarding sage mode and it had come to her with time, yet now released from both sage mode and that training her body had started to shiver from the downpour of rain which had been continuously soaking her to the bone. Even with simple clothing the cotton shirt was getting heavy, she should have worn something else, even a mere singlet would be less material to hold water. The shirt had such volumes of water that it had started to chill her skin, surely it would be best to remove such a negative influence to the early morning session which had been brought on by a lack of sleep and a never ending nightmare. With a sigh that had been dragged off her bare skin and dumped close by. What had that feeling been, she had it twice. First it had been odd, second it had been more homely. Perhaps this was something she should look into, rarely did feelings she have turn out to be important yet there was no point giving up too easily!

Earlier it had seemed like some sort of romance, lightning and earth had finally collide within her yet neither side knew quite what to do. As from the feelings that her chakra had given off the earth had superiority due to experience and time, yet the lightning was the natural dominant element over earth. Both of them wished to, for some reason, melt together almost. Their tunes had changed and the elements had almost been courting with poems and roses, if only she could understand the odd attraction they had to each other which seemed explainable. Flopping down the cool shards of rock beneath her held odd puddles of water which seeped into her skin, surrounding her with a layer of smooth to the touch feelings. This predicament, it was really quite simple wasn't almost as if she was missing a simple item in her brain, yet she could not force it, otherwise the idea would be repelled and would forever elude her.

It was as her skin melded with the earth beneath her that Miko really started to watch the lightning, it almost calmed her as the chakra within swirled around and collided with each other. It had to be, that was what it felt like after all. Magnetism almost, for brief moments she could feel the world around her, the metals especially on her person and under the earth straining and moving as different forces acted upon them, she had heard of a few people using it, the force of metal and magnetism. Quite similar to the gravity which held them on the ground magnets had their own force, a complex one which although everything had magnets held a rather unusually high amount of this magnetism stuff. the rain had turned into a soft misting of water, continuous in its endeavor to soak every object in the land it had at least stopped being so loud, the only sounds coming from the forest around them and the storm above which seemed to be slowing. Normally one had to put their chakra into the element to slowly understand the properties, yet how could she put her chakra into something which wasn't there. She needed something to work with, lacking in magnets the moment seemed to perfect to lose.

Yet there wasn't enough metal in the earth below and who carried magnets around incase they had a moment of understanding and wanted to casually learn a new Elemental release. Right yes, everyone except her of course. It must have only been 4 or 5 in the morning and she had been laying in a puddle, back to the cold stone without a shirt on her back and very few hours of sleep. There had been one hell of a storm and now she was here doing anything except going home and getting warm. Going home, her hand moved to her waistband slightly, two little keys had been clipped to a loop. Within moments they were clutched in her hands just half a foot from her face. Metal conducted that weird force, no not conducted it was a container for it. Instead of a slow pour, or a steady drip like before her patience had been tested, tired hungry and cold her chakra started to prod at the two keys, perhaps hoping to start something between them as if it were a blind date.

The keys seemed to vibrate almost, the energy within causing a slight build up as it wanted to do something yet she hadn't figured out how to give it direction. Gods how she must have looked, early hours of the morning laying in a puddle staring at two keys the world would have thought her mad. Not that she needed the world for that, no amount of words could summarize the feeling that she had gotten as her chakra had come into contact with the metal, poking and prodding in hopes of finding a way to affect the two metal objects. Perhaps there was a way to blend her chakra together with the key, to affect the very object itself directly. Her face twisted into a thoughtful face, this amount of thought and concentration for the young woman was quite odd, a rare moment in time. Majority of the time during training she had merely gone with the flow, not quite knowing exactly what to do with everything else something had just happened, whilst others had needed to direct her and gently guide the young woman toward using the proper techniques this seemed like the first session where everything had fallen into a steady pace, a current had it swept her up, she had started to swim with it. Slowly mouthing her chakra within the keys.

Two separate threads of chakra had been poured into the keys, yet, she could connect them. With a connection between the two chakra infused keys her mind was a little confused at first, it felt so odd. The connection between them seemed so flexible, yet strained as if both wished to only be close to the other, perhaps if she could focus on that little part, just zone in on it and drag it out. Separated the two keys sat on opposite ends of her palms, the skin under them heated slightly as a vibration of chakra started to slowly drag them together. Yes, this would work quite well. Brows drawn closer together the keys were attracted together, an odd feeling it was. Controlling something in such a way, dominance over something was not often experienced by the genin, it almost felt uncomfortable.

Wondrous truly, a slight metallic clink had reached her ears as the keys drawn together had connected. So they had drawn together by this magnetism, this element within her that couldn't be seen or touched, it acted like gravity between two metal objects, pure and simple attraction the romantic force was something which she had not been able to relate to until now. Yet this union of metal and lightning had caused a spark to form, a spark of connection between two keys which were now truly fused together and unable to be used. A lump of useless metal unless she could undo it in some way. Her eyes had closed, guarded against the misting of water which fell down in thick blanket like layers suffocating any creature whom disliked the rain. If this magnetic force between the keys could attract then surely it was just like those magnets they had in the draw at home. if she could just switch the poles, would they be able to get pushed away, repelled by each other.

If they could be attracted then it would be relatively simple to reverse that, just do the same steps it took to attract them but do that in reverse. With a breath her mind had to lock onto the keys with a little more effort, the chakra inside her trying to repel each other. except the only thing she achieved was clashing together the two elements within her until all effects of magnetism were released. With a slight grumble he had released the keys, letting them tumble to the ground next to her, annoyance spread through her mid weaving itself onto her face. How was she supposed to learn magnetism if there was nothing to concentrate on, assuming that this was that magnetism thing, was it truly something she could learn, unless it wasn't something that she could learn, unless whatever she had been doing was a waste of time.

No it did feel right, it felt as if she had come to form something else within her, similar to the feeling when she had understood lightning. Elbows dig into the stone, skin scraping slightly the water stung the raw patches. Snatching the keys she proper herself, laying on her stomach with the keys before her, chin on hands perched comfortably her eyes narrowed. Gaze focused once more she attacked her chakra to the keys, moxign the lightning and earth together she now understood that by combining them the earth properties could take on the lightning attribute of energetic magnetism which hopefully she could control in some way. A moment later, just messing with it all she had managed to gather control of the magnetic forces of the keys separately. Yet trouble came as she tried to affect one key with the other. Until after a moment she had managed to do something, not quite what she wanted although the youth would settle for it. Instead of changing the relationship between the two metal objects she had created some form of energy field, vibrating and whirling around the keys creating a type of barrier of sorts, it felt odd yet natural. This unseeable force which held it all together had begun to appear to her, as if she could feel every connection that something held to something else at the same time.

No no it was time to go, she could do whatever it was, that magnetic force seemed almost like a part of her now as she could meld it and mold each aspect of it with enough practice for sure. Accomplishment was a feeling that spread across her, relaxing her as the youth stumbled shivering back to the village, her hair had gone weeks back unraveling progress she had made regarding the physical state and wellbeing of it. Bones chilled it seemed that even the marrow locked away had been flooded with freezing water, her keys the only thing she had grabbed before beginning a walk of shame.
