The Adventures of a Troubled Boy
Tears streaked down Roku's face. Anger swelled in his face. Why did he give a damn? What was so special about the blacksmith lord? Why was he in so much pain to see the man gone? He didn't give a damn about him! He wasn't Roku's real parents! But that didn't stop the tears. He attempted to pull himself together before entering the Raikage's office, but realizing it was futile, he just walked in, eyes wet. "Milord. I can't see myself staying in Kumogakure any longer. This is where my loyalty will always be, and I will always come back should you ask. And I will return some day, but... I need time. I need to figure some things out." The Raikage nodded. He didn't answer. Roku went on. "I leave at first light. I wanted to ask your permission to do small menial missions in other countries to earn myself enough income to live off of without having to resort to anything illegal." Again, Lucifer nodded. Roku left. And that was it.
