| Voltaire, still young, still fourteen years old, still horribly upset and confused with how the Chuunin Exams were presented, how some international agreement could have lead to something so foul, how all of the other major nations combined could be so horrible as to blot out the brilliance of Sunagakure no Sato's influence on the meaning of combat. As to tear apart this diabolical union of weaklings against the nation that so perfectly represents strength Voltaire headed into the sands, determined not to come back until he had the power to take the position of Kazekage away from whatever weakling allowed for that miserable nonsense to happen. What threats would the Kazekage have had to deal with? The leadership of the other nations hardly seemed at all notable. There was the Hokage perhaps, some pale eyed degenerate. Many of the older ninja feared those with special eyes, but Voltaire felt only disgust in their presence. Voltaire had tried to get past his hatred for Dojutsu users since he had been paired up with an Uchiha for his training, an Uchiha given to perverted actions in public towards healers who mingle with cripples none the less, but this had confirmed his feelings towards them. Had that weakling been worthy of respect he would have come to the same conclusion as Voltaire and headed out into these same sands to train, because there was no way on Earth that he had been strong enough to accomplish anything there. Hiro may have done fantastically though, carrying with him the desert wherever he went as he did would give any man the motivation to mow down as many foreigners as he could get his hands on. These fantasies would be all to keep him going as he marched into tireless training with none of the luxuries his wealthy family had always afforded him thus far. By the end of this though, he would be able to claim the Shinobi nations for himself, with Sunagakure no Sato as the capital while the others were pushed into nothingness. - Post Info:

| Draped around his shoulders was the puppet the Body Cart, and perched securely on its head was another puppet, the Pokey Head Spider. The Body Cart was a few feet tall, purple, and made entirely of metals. Its hands and feet were singular claws, each at the wrists nearly a foot long, and the ones at the feet just a bit shorter. though the feet were very wide as to give it stability whenever it stood. Its head was very wide and on its back was a large scroll for storing the victims of its desperately assembled collection of elemental techniques. The Pokey Head Spider was purple with black stripes and around a foot wide, with bent spikes as legs and smaller ones as mouth parts and a normal, short spike on its head. Though as magnificent as these beasties were Voltaire would need something far greater if he was to defend the Village Hidden in the Sand from the never ending dangers from outside, especially when they day finally came that they would attack him as a singular entity. He had one summon, but its main skills were in sealing those who were already dead, healing Voltaire or occasionally others at his own discretion, and intelligence gathering. He needed an absolutely brutal fighter to carry him across the sea of bodies when those who opposed him finally saw what he was capable of doing. He bit his thumb as hard as he could. He found this process very distasteful, resourceful yes, and making full use of his body as any shinobi should, though it lacked harshly in the finesse that drew Voltaire into the ninja arts as a child. He would have to find some other way of quickly getting his own blood, with a sharp tool, preferably one where he could leave it blood stained and terrify those who opposed him. He pressed that bleeding right hand against the ground and started to pool his chakra into his palm, connecting with the ground but going no deeper than that, and not immediately allowing the technique to do as it needed, because 75 was not the spider he had in mind. - WC:

| He raised his palm slightly from the ground, maybe a sixteenth of an inch or so at the very most from the sandy surface, and his chakra started to fill that gap, making something of a tiny blue bubble that expanded as he pulled away from the ground. In this bubble was a powerful gate-way that could pull in beasts from another world, the world of the spiders that he had been granted sole access to, and in accordance with that honor they were to obey him, and to serve him in battle and peace, though they seemed to have a strong preference for battle times over peace times, something Voltaire had no issues wrapping his young mind around.
He kept pouring more and more into the bubble, making it rotate a bit from the pressure, almost a psuedo rasengan trying to work as a portal to an intimidating world full of giant arachnids, and through it he was starting to truly feel the reach of the other beasts. Beast would be the proper word, because now he was looking for something capable of taking on a tailed beast. Something enormous, something beyond or at capacity of human shinobi capacity, with which he would be able to mow down human enemies until the day came that he surpassed even this spider in abilities. He needed something that would qualify as a monster.

| As more chakra was applied he found that he could almost see into their world, that he could select things and not just pull for the beast who he had met prior to learning the technique needed to call upon the spider who had saved his life. He closed his eyes tight and he could not necessarily see that world, but he could make out some blurry shapes and sizes. Where his vision was placed he saw hundreds of spiders, though most were the size of the spiders that he had known on Earth, and not even like the ones in the desert, more like the puny Village Hidden in the Leaves spiders that were hardly two millimeters long and could barely kill a man. He kept trying to find something larger, though his vision kept being pulled towards 75, who seemed very clear to him, likely due to the fact that he had been acquainted with this one in the past.
He saw some that were very large, but they were moving sluggishly. He saw some that moved at high speeds, but they were quite small. Some had very large fangs but they were also small. His desires gave him a clear mental image of what was needed, and he would keep searching until he found one spider that met each of those criteria perfectly.

| He tried to redirect his focus to some new part of the world, one that he had not pulled from, as well as one that he had not visited, though he had only ever pulled from the one place that he had visited. He found himself almost blinded, keeping his eyes squeezed tightly shut to get an idea of where he was, but still very overwhelmed with it all. But then one shape emerged. It was so enormous that through the blurriness he could still so easily make out features of it.
It was enormous, well over ten feet long with legs longer than its own main body. It had fangs about the size of Voltaire's own body, with hard hairs covering the entire body that he could see. And while large, this one was definitely not sluggish. It was in the process of hunting something bigger than Voltaire, perhaps a horse, yes, that was what it looked like. It had four legs, a long neck, and a powerful body. Another spider of size equal to that of the horse was hunting it, but then spines flew into it from the body of the smaller spider from the larger one. It seemed to die instantly from the nearly two hundred simultaneous blows. As soon as the larger spider bridged the gap with the horse it jabbed it with the fangs, injecting some sort of a venom into it perhaps, or just tearing it up with the force of the fangs. It then pulled it into its mouth. But what happened next so assured him that this was the summon for him. When it was done with the horse, it began to pluck the senbon like projectiles from the other spider and then ate it.

| The force of the final step of the technique was immense. The intense amount of released Chakra pushed up not only his hand, but Voltaire felt his entire boy being jerked hard upwards. Though, somehow, it was not jarring or uncomfortable, as though this was how it was meant to be. Though it was likely so much less comfortable for the creature that was being summoned; definitely more jarring as its meal was being interrupted. The first thing that Voltaire noticed was that his hand was bleeding much more now, the spines that he had noticed earlier pressing into the delicate skin of his palm. The second thing that he noticed was that he was now several feet above where he had been.
The thick metal soles of his boots caught most of the brunt from the spines below, though he knew trying to ride the spider like this for too many steps from the beast would likely lead to some bleeding feet. It was truly a magnificent creature. He cautiously walked down the face of the beast, spying several enormous eyes spying him back. "What is your name?" he asked the beast. after a moment of silence it responded in an echoing, booming, raspy, voice, "I am Jericho, have you summoned me?"
Voltaire nodded, looking over the creature with a wide smile. "Yes," he said with a giggle in his throat, "And your service is going to please me greatly." Jericho said nothing in return, but stood like a statue awaiting orders.
