Well, after their little dinner, he felt less like a king and more like a gentleman. A Senju who prides himself in his swordplay was serving the daughter of an egg. But it had to be done if he wanted to gain some ryo for new equipment. For the sake of gaining strength, he had to make himself look weak with his head hung down, the girl telling him that “It was just not going to work out between us” before leaving him in town square. With a shade over his eyes, he let a smile out at last once the task was done. It wasn’t like she wasn’t a good girl, but he was in it for pay at the end of the day. The blonde flicked his hand in his pocket with a grin now out as he dangled it in front of his head. If there was any real love out there, it was for him and this bag of money. Ryo is precious to a king, who must keep as much as he could. Of course, the girl gained some confidence at the end of it and blah blah blah, but she’ll likely end up dating a guy who genuinely likes her and will find it different. Not his problem, and the father needed to do better. But Mr. Egg can deal with that on his own, Hibiya prepared to walk back home to store this in the stash of Ryo.
