The meal had been feeling, so filling that for more than a few moments the table had been silent before they decided to disperse. Relaxed back she had moved her gaze across the other two who seemed equally relaxed. Whilst the meal had been delicious looking back they had used an awful lot of dishes which would need to be cleared away in due time. The preparation had used a wooden board and a couple of knives, it had all gone into a big pot for the broth, the frying pan and utensils for making and cooking the dumplings as well as that big ladle for serving, chopsticks and spoons it really did all pile up. Brows twitched together as she moved to softly rub her temples, dishes from what appeared to be the families lunch earlier and of course Marionettes chocolate creations. With a glance up it had seemed to be that the daughter, the very child they had been babysitting had come to the exact same conclusion that she had. Proudly announcing that she and her parents would take care of the dishes later so not to worry about becoming some sort of domestic slave.

Domestic slavery what a thought, although her partner on this job had seemed to be nothing more than a puppet, miko herself had hoped to be a little better than some form of dancer who performed whenever requested. Settled back into the main room marionette had returned to what could be her normal state, without a big fuss miko sort of preferred this. For sure it was a little odd and there were no clues on how to act however not having to worry about a person altogether was great. Placing the cards down she offered the deck to the daughter whom they had been babysitting, it was a simplistic game which held little value in terms of brain development. Just something to pass that last half hour before the parents returned and all of them would be free.

The last moments had gone smoothly, although not bonding with the other child she had for sure been polite, yet the door had creaked open as the parents hurriedly stumbled in. They had come it at a rather nice moment, having arrived just in time to witness the slightly older female take a slight but sensational lead against their child. The apologies flowed forth, a fresh spring of polite words packaged gently in manners. Mentions of an accident which they had no control over until a helpful hand had returned the path to the state it should have been. Chuckling slightly at the story she had settled the parents with soft and simple words, calming she encouraged them to take a seat before going over the nicer parts of the evening. The couple, happy to accept and briefly converse as their child wandered into the kitchen, the slight sounds of running water had bubbled up followed by a familiar almost musical sound of crockery clinking together. With their child cleaning up after dinner she had risen to stand as the parents made the motions to assist their spawn in cleansing the butchery.

On her way out the door, minutes after her partner had left the daughter had slid a boiled sweet into her pocket where it settled nicely next to the reward. A thanks of sorts, she guessed it was for not informing her parents of the small excursion out of the house and into the nearby alleyway. The door closed softly a stretch shivered up her back, the night had been interesting. Two new people she had met, one of them a ninja of sorts whom she had gotten close with despite rarely speaking. Yet the silence that Marionette held around her was soothing, a peace of sorts which Miko had longed for for a while. Whilst Zaida was forever the closest to her, they would never part ways for sure, yet all the commotion that they got into together would sometimes get a little overwhelming.
