Name: Lyrebird Rank: D Type: Body Element: N/A Range: Self Description: One of a select handful of deceitful maneuvers within the arsenal of an otherwise honorable warrior, this devious technique artificially creates a "tell" where otherwise there would not be one. By flexing particular muscles and exerting an extreme mastery of one's own body, the warrior can make it appear as if they are about to perform one particular movement when in reality he is about to engage in something entirely different. The more perceptive the opponent, the more deadly this can be as they are more apt to misinterpret the false information.
Name: Hummingbird Rank: C Type: Body Element: N/A Range: 5m Description: Perhaps the ancestral origins of the Water Walking and other related techniques, the practitioner coats his body in a thing but pliable layer of chakra. This allows them to manipulate themselves without actual muscle movements, most commonly permitting them to skate across the ground as if on ice. This is not limited to only the feet though and the warrior may slide about on any part of their body. Additionally, this allows the user to "dash" through the air, though the range is very short. Regardless, they can reorient themselves when airborne, giving them extreme maneuverability.
Name: Canary Rank: B Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: Sight Description: The warrior selects a weapon(s) or chakra blade(s) which he has and runs his chakra wildly through it/them. By doing this the blade ignite with a brilliant illumination which makes it neigh impossible to look directly upon them. Anyone who directly looks at a weapon upon this technique's activation will be blinded for one post and looking at them for as long as it is maintained will cause continued blindness. For every 10 perception anyone other than the user has above 100 the blindness is increased by 1 post.
Name: Crow Feather Ritual Rank: S | Limited Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: 100m Description: With a general malice towards the ninja world and all that it has built, the warrior releases his chakra in wide area, marked visibly by ethereal, impressionist-like black feathers which float about. This region becomes cursed by the strange ritual the bladesman performs, resulting in an inversion in all stat changes. This does not affect static changes, such as those provided via blood lines, but instead targets those buffs and debuffs with an activation and/or upkeep cost associated. This jutsu is easily rendered burdensome by simply not increasing one's stats, however beyond this there is no real way around the curse. It cannot be "negated" or "nullified" through jutsu or other means once activated, including by stat differentials in defensive jutsu and this technique, as this ritual has no offensive capabilities and to negate it would be to end one's own stat changes. Instead, it simply checks if any active stat changes exist within its domain and, if present, it inverts them. As a price, even the use is not immune to this curse and must abide by its rule at all times as it centers on himself. Thus, it creates an even playing field for all in which every combatant is confined to the normal limitations of their body. This has no effect on bijuu cloaks.
Name: Jay Plume Liturgy Rank: A Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: 30 m Description: Something between a technique, fighting style, and art form, this ritual allows the user to materialize blades of pure chakra with which to fight either via his hands or by moving them around within his field of influence telekenetically. The weapon forms can be altered at will but may not exceed 2 meters in length. The blades have strength equal to the user's, endurance equal to half his chakra stat, and the user may make one plus an additional per 100 total chakra he has.
The true strength of this is not the ability to never be without weaponry but instead their binding abilities. A powerful Samurai ritual, the glowing chakra which crafts these weapons is a powerful binding agent akin to the Crow Feather Ritual. This allows them to seal the chakra of anything with which they come into contact. An item animated by chakra cut or pierced with one of these will lose its chakra connection, though the connection can be re-established. A person pierced with this shall have their chakra sealed for as long as the contact is maintained. When clashing with weapons and items, the user may, upon establishing contact, fuse one weapon with the item in question, sealing the abilities of it for as long the upkeep is paid.
Name: Vulture Quill Sacrament Rank: B Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: 100m Description: By releasing a wave of chakra, the user is able to propagate a chakra field which inverts the effectiveness of medical chakras within the area. The area affected is filled with squat, surrealist vulture feathers, each white with a dark brown tip. Medical techniques and abilities within the vicinity intended to heal will instead cause decay and degeneration, while the rare medical ability which degenerates or harms will instead heal.
Name: Peacock Ambiance Rank: A,S Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: Self Description: After applying an elegant seal to his body, the user can, upon realizing he is trapped within a genjutsu, course his chakra to this seal in order seal that illusion away, freeing him much like the traditional kai technique would do. The secret to this, however, has nothing to do with removing the illusion but rather the sealing itself. Once this technique has been used on a genjutsu the bearer becomes immune to that specific genjutsu in the future. This is utterly ineffective against limited genjutsu. Requirements: Jae
Name: Jailbird Rank: A-S Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: Self Description: A shielding technique which solidifies the user's spirit, this ability is used to create an incredibly potent barrier. This technique generates a kind of shell around the user's body with high defensive power, acting as a sort of armor which can outright absorb weak attacks or heavily weaken even powerful blows. It is unaffected by special additions of chakra, such as elemental damage. 80 durability for A rank, 120 for S.
Name: Toucan Rank: S Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: Length of Weapon + 1m Description: By channeling an immense amount of chakra into a weapon, the user grants it the highest tier cutting power (or smashing power for blunt instruments). The weapon glows an opalescent shimmer when this is activated and takes on two unique properties. First, the overwhelming energy infused into the weapon allows a swing from this ability to cleave through water or air as if it were a solid and damage constructs made entirely from pure chakra. Secondly, the weapon will slice cleanly through anything, including other blades, whose durability fails to exceed the combine power of this technique plus the base power at which the weapon is swung. Of course if and when this ability meets an object which it cannot cut through it can still damage said items, such as cutting partially through it, but generally this allows a master swordsman to slice as cleanly through a ninja weapon as he would a leaf. This covering can extend the length of the weapon by up to 1 meter. Requirements: Jae
Name: Hawkeye Rank: D Type: Body Element: N/A Range: 15m Description: Misnamed entirely, this technique uses a field of chakra to artificially extend his sensory field. The simple saturation of chakra within the air allows the user to detect anything moving within that air as if it were an extension of himself and he was touching every surface of these objects. The range is nothing phenomenal though and thus it is rather poor at gathering information. Requirements: Jae
Name: Wing Beat of Golden Eagle Rank: B-S Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: 8 m Description: A more powerful form of the parent technique, this explosive sphere of chakra is powerful enough to cause notable concussive damage and repel jutsu of equal or lesser rank. The blast is much more potent at the center and can cause intense bruising and potential bone breakage to those very close to the user who are not hearty enough to resist. Power and speed are equal to the user's. Deals damage as if 1 rank lower than the rank used (B = C damage) unless struck at point blank range by the blast (within 2 feet of the user).
Name: Quick Coat Rank: D Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: Close Description: The user can manipulate their chakra to dash them to a location up to ten meters from their current location at a speed equal to the original users maximum speed. Their body phases through all things while in this state, though the user is unable to use any other action until this is completed. Depending on the speed, this may take a second or the blink of an eye.
Name: Demonic Aura Rank: S Type: Spirit Element: N/A Range: Self Description: The user's Chakra becomes a visible red or black, waving off of the user's body menacingly. This technique boosts the user's resolve to kill, making their chakra and abilities more potent.
A- The user can pick one non-Aura technique that lists stats to Strengthen one listed number of by 50%. This causes the aura to shift from the user's entire body to just glowing from the body part or 'Forged Weapon' in use. Only one technique can be strengthened at a time with this method. Costs 60 Upkeep. S- The user strengthens the boosts and stats of all non-Aura technique used by 50%. Also, any ranged Chakra Techniques used that deal Jutsu Damage will be turned red and boosted by one rank. Costs 70 Upkeep.
This technique cannot be used with any other Samurai Aura techniques.
Name: Green Finch Rank: C Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: 30 m Description: By forcing chakra into a weapon the user is holding, he can extend the weapon forward like a gunshot. When doing this, the weapon goes through something akin to a transmutation of sorts, becoming an elongated, whip-like form of itself, the path of which the user can control. The power and speed of this are dependent upon the weapon itself, mimicking the power and speed at which the user would normally swing it. Once canceled, the excess portions of the blade simply disappear, returning the weapon to its normal shape and size. Requirements: Jae
Name: Gray Duckling Rank: C Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: 30 m Description: Coating the weapon in question in a layer of chakra, the user swings or thrusts the blade and releases said energy in a straight line which matches the shape of the arc of the swing, creating a kind of thin wave of slicing energy. This technique matches the power of the swing of the sword but is unique in that it is very slow, moving at one fourth the speed of the user and thus taking 2 full posts to reach its final destination. Curiously, it is so attuned with the user’s chakra that it does not interact with them, allowing the samurai to run right through it and incur no damage. Requirements: Jae
Name: Thunderbird Rank: D,C,B,A,S Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: Touch Description: Born of legendary mastery over all technique, this skill allows the user to pick up any weapon and instantly wield it as if he were that blades owner, master, and forger. He can automatically comprehend the weapon's intent and inner workings and use any techniques associated with it that he would otherwise be able use (must have appropriate skills, etc. Would have to learn weapon specific jutsu before using them, but can use the base abilities of the weapon as normal). Additionally, external control of that weapon is cut off for as long as he holds it and the weapon itself is suppressed, rendering it incapable of anything but obeying its new usurper. The rank used must match or exceed the rank of the weapon and the upkeep is equal to one rank lower. Requirements: Jae, Grandmaster in Technique
Name: Phoenix Rank: B Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: Weapon length Description: Another technique of unparalleled skill with the blade, this uses pure chakra as a catalyst of creation, reforging and repairing a weapon in hand. Thus, with this, the samurai shall never fear a broken blade as he can restore any arms to its original glory. The repair occurs at twice the user's speed and will never require more than one posts to complete. Once completed, the blade is as good as new, as if the damage done unto it had never occurred. Name: Pelican Rank: B Type: Technique Element: N/A Range: 30 m Description: By focusing his chakra into his weapon of choice, the user can create a giant, disembodied version of the weapon to confront giant monsters, summons, bijuu, or structures, or simply to attack enemies at a range with a giant's blade. The huge spiritual weapon mimics the user's movements, can be canceled at will, and has a strength and endurance of 30 more than the user's base. Requirements: Jae
[Name : Flamingo Wing Ritual Origins : Jae Characteristics : A more or less balanced approach to fighting with a weapon or body, this style nonetheless tends towards the aggressive, frequently counterattacking in place of defending. It is a style which thrives not only on continual combat but continual combat at close ranges against another armed opponents. The style claims to invalidate numerical advantages and places a high emphasis upon weapon quality, technique, raw skill, and continual flexibly and adaptability. For the purposes of this style, attacks with the weapon are counted as having power equal to the average of the speed and strength of the practitioner plus half the durability of the weapon in question and when used the strikes, blocks, and parries are set to a max speed equal to ten higher than the user's base speed per tier of said user.. History : The style was born within the gladiatorial pits somewhere deep within the Land of Iron by Jae, a rough and instinctual style which thrives on endless combat. Due to this, it is powerful and aggressive but retains a certain element of caution and does not favor any one weapon in particular. A gruff old man of Kumogakure, he initially intended to disarm me upon my arrival at the Village of Clouds, though in the end he permitted me access and allowed me to obtain fake travel papers which, apparently, matter within the ninja world. I've no sense of his particular powers or affiliations and am generally unconcerned with him.

An insolent child and alleged shinobi of Kumogakure, this fool stopped me as I peaceably roamed the streets of his boring village by attacking me with a set of snakes. Upon confiscating the fake travel documents so recently given to me he dropped his guard and allowed me to go on my way, perhaps realizing that he could not have stopped me if even had he wanted. I am not a fan of his in the slightest and while his collection of snakes peaked my interest for a brief moment, his stupidity and ignorance should prove more threatening than his actual battle prowess.

Doubtlessly a brainless fool, this mysterious user of the Byakugan attacked Voltaire and myself without provocation. I, personally, had simply been an innocent bystander until this white hair loon drug me into the fight for some reason. Something about him really boils my blood, and his eyes fill me with loathing. Perhaps a reminder of lives long since passed. Either way, Konoha is not in good standing with me after our small bout.
Like all shinobi he is cowardly and practices mostly mid-to long range attacks, most of which were on the medium to weak side as far as damage goes. Surprisingly, his jutsu appeared to require no hand signs, something I wasn't aware was possible for typical ninja, and he seemed to use heated light beams in most of his attacks. Nothing which posed an abnormal threat through.

Both links go to the same thread, but it seems like the thread you're talking about is Enough? If that's the case, you'd be earning 500 Exp, not 600 since you get 400 Exp for a starting post. Not 500. So your amount left would be 5,000 Exp, not 5,100.
